HelloBCN Hostel Barcelona

Overall it was fine but the people staying there were terrible. Also the front desk staff did nothing and didn’t care when I advised them about someone in my room doing disgusting inappropriate things while we were all in bed. Loud, dirty and not for anyone 35+ for sure. Hostel vibes ok, prob not that easy to meet others.

Lovely place, nice people from all over the world. Very good location and easy to make new connections! When I come back, I will definetly go there again!! Special thanks to Dayana, very sympathatic and helpfull at the reception and Marie was super friendly at the Bar!!

Stayed in a female dorm, security was excellent with handy wristband for lockers in the room and entry to the hostel. Level of cleanliness in bathroom and room was ok. Value for money was decent and liked the location as was only a 5 min walk to the metro. Would stay again.

Small room, the neighborhood dirty and sticky, the girl showers can be seen from the corridor and need to make sure the door is closed, I heard the people from other floor walking in my room, the beds are not separated so when someone move in the night all the beds are moving😥 The doors slam and it's shaking all the bed.. The bracelet system is comfortable and the team is helpfull and friendly If you looking to party with young maybe this is the place for you

The vibe here is amazing! It’s super social, but at the same time, you can get a good night’s sleep if you need to. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights for me was the night tours – they organize the best bar crawls and club nights, so if you love partying and meeting cool people from all over the world, you’ll have the time of your life! Breakfast is nothing fancy, but it’s cheap and does the job before you head out for the day. Overall, if you’re looking for a fun, affordable place in the best location, this is the spot. I’d 100% come back!

Stayed at HelloBCN with my friend to celebrate her birthday, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! We booked a double private room with a shared bathroom, and everything exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic—just one street away from Paral·lel metro station, making it super easy to explore Barcelona. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage both at check-in and check-out, which was really convenient. The reception team was friendly, and Marcus at the bar made our stay even better by offering us free sangria! Our room was clean, with comfy beds, and the shared bathrooms were spotless and always available. The common kitchen and living room were great spaces to relax and meet other travelers. Overall, it was a great first-time hostel experience—perfect for meeting people and staying on budget. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
