Hells Gate National Park

Hell’s Gate National Park is an incredible destination! The scenery is breathtaking, with towering cliffs, deep gorges, and unique rock formations that make it unlike any other park. I loved being able to walk, cycle, and even hike through the park while spotting wildlife up close. The geothermal features and natural hot springs add an extra layer of beauty. It’s adventurous yet peaceful—a perfect place for nature lovers and anyone looking for an active outdoor experience. Highly recommend visiting!”

Walking Safari: It's one of the few parks where you can walk or cycle without a guide.

Went for the third time for Safari Series bike races. Afterwards, we took a trip to the gorges. The park has nice gravel roads, you can enjoy the game on your bike. I loved it.

Execption service from our guide Simon goes by the name the shortest Maasai. He was very engaging and knew is way around the park. He is among the community guides and he was well vast with at least 5 languages. His photography skills are 2nd to none. Took us to the gorge and had the patinnce to get a water bottle for one of us who was unable to go down. The park needs to work on restrictions of plastics and they were strune all over. The payment desk was very helpful and courteous . The overall experience was amazing.

The only park where you get to walk on foot. This makes you enjoy the wild animal's view even more. It is a great place for people who also love geography. And there is a background view of mount longonot from here.

Can be skipped if you have visited Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru as there is nothing much to see other than that. Bicycle ride is optional and it is about 16 kms up and down to the hot springs parking area. Further walk is required to reach the canyon and hot springs.

It's reputation exceeds any review. Some scenes of the movies: Lion King (Mufasa falling off a cliff)and Tomb Raider were acted here. Perfect for nature trails.
