The overall experience was alright which is very good considering the price of the hotel. As a 3 star apartment hotel it offers what you need, though no breakfast or restaurant. The things I can complain about are in the details. Cleaning could be better, more than one showing towel could be offered, a bag of tea or instant coffee on the kitchen would be nice for a shorter visit, the kitchen ventilation whines, a leg on the table was crooked, a but too small shower and a few more lesser details. However, I enjoyed the stay. It was a good and spacious apartment, bed was good, quiet place in the nights, very close to central Helsinki and good pressure in the shower. For what it offered the value was great.

A spacious and comfortable apartment that we very much enjoyed. So much better than a cramped hotel room and at a better price. It is clean and comfortable with the amenities of home. Cook your own food if you want though the kitchen is small. Located in a quiet neighbourhood not far from city center. We highly recommend this place.

Clean and spacious in a great central location. It is a bit dated, but it wasn't advertised to be otherwise so I didn't expect it to be. The staff is very helpful - the kitchen knifes in our apartment were blunt and the quickly replaced them with brand new. We stayed there for a week and would definitely consider the hotel again next time.

My partner and I stayed here on our first visit to Helsinki, and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed in, a self-contained apartment, was very nice - reasonably spacious with great facilities. The location of the hotel is also quite good, close to public transport, cafés and other points of interest.

Nice place. Not cheap. Couldn't use heating as was turned off so at times room was cold, but managed with portable heater. Very quiet hotel and location. Very pleasant staff at reception. Beds comfortable but pillows horrible. Couldn't switch off fan from range hood over cooker in room so had that noise 24/7 for 4 days. Spacious and overall a very pleasant stay.

4.5 stars, took a little off for the mediocre pull out couch bed and meager pillows. Staff helpful and the in house laundry and sauna facilities were very much appreciated. Good location with easy access to city centre, and far enough away from the train station to avoid nuisances.

Really spacious, friendly staff. Had a slight issue on the first night and were happy to accommodate us. Good location for central Helsinki being a 15 minute walk away. Self catering facilities limited but adequate for 2 people.

This is a nice little apartment style hotel. It is not a traditional hotel in the sense that they do not have daily housekeeping. It is within easy walking distance to everything you would want to see and visit in Helsinki.

Excellently situated in a quiet, pretty residential area about 1,5 kilometer from the Central train station and the city centre. If you take the tram it's two stations and then you have to walk a few hundred metres. The two bedroom apartment with twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen room was spacious and fresh. The staff was friendly (some speak Swedish) and the checking in/out was easy. WIfi is free and fast. A few kinks though - There was a distinct sewer odour in the clean bathroom. The waste bin in the kitchenette had apparently not been emptied so after a few days the smell was pretty awful when we opened it to throw trash. The table chairs with red fabric covers had seen better and cleaner days. I would suggest changing them for wood or plastic chairs that are much easier to keep clean. Apart from that, a great, good value for money place to set base and explore the beautiful city of Helsinki from.

Close to the "Rock Church" - super friendly helpful staff, quiet clean nice room, fabulous neighborhood for strolling around. Check out Anton & Anton bakery/grocery down the street - best bread ever

The only reason I did not give Hellsten Helsinki Parliament a FIVE is because some people might be put off by the fact that this centrally located apartment hotel does not have someone at the reception desk on Sundays. But there is a telephone number that you can call for anything you need. Besides being immaculately clean and quiet, it is located close by numerous restaurants, museums, public transportation and shopping. The people who work there are English-speaking and quiet warm as well as friendly. The WiFi is free as is the sauna and laundry room down stairs. I am a teacher who was taking a seminar at the University of Helsinki for several weeks. With the price as compared to the rest of Helsinki, I was quite happy. It is great for the business, couples, family, friends or solo. I am going back to Helsinki just for vacation next summer, and I will be staying there again. One thing, Finnish is related to remotely related to two other languages on earth, Estonian and Hungarian. So, the Finns automatically switch to English when they hear an accent, whether your from Sweden, Canada or India.
