Very nice place so far. A little dated in the apartment but not too bad for a small weekend trip to Helsinki. *Updated review- Unique apartment hotel and good location. Tram 4 was right around the corner and you can take it to the city center. For Americans staying there, the bathroom outlet is located in the light above the sink. There's a little flap/door you have to lift and you can plug in the hair dryer there. Reading other reviews for the hotel, some people were surprised that the bed was two twin beds put together. This is a very typical Finnish thing.... so don't sleep in the middle.... stick to your own side. We didn't do any cooking but the fridge was clean. Overall really nice place with Scandinavian simplicity and charm.

Great spacious apartments but very cheaply fitted. Could definitely do with an eye for detail being run over the place and furnished in a more luxurious way versus the very obvious "cheapest possible materials" approach. It's obvious the maintenance person is a bodge fix type that just gets things working. That said, for a reasonable nights stay at a reasonable (for Finland) price then this is a good option.

Nice flat in a really nice area, surrounded by elegant Art Nouveau/Romantic Nationalist buildings. Flat is spacious and comfortable; tram stop just a few steps away. No frills, but a laundry room on site. Building has a lift. Bathroom/shower could be a bit more pleasant. Recommended.

Clean, comfortable apartments in a nice quiet area of Helsinki. The apartment is large, but a bit dated, and while certainly well-used, was very clean. Check-in is self service but worked well. There are basic kitchen facilities in the apartment. It would be particularly suitable if you are there for business for an extended time - much more space than an average hotel room. The tram is nearby.

Cozy apartment, with a kitchen, fridge, table, shower, double sized bed and TV. Quite spacious as well. Included some complimentary coffee and tee. Everything was tidy and I had no issues. The price was not bad either. Overall, no complaints!

The hotel itself is very cozy, clean and comfortable. But the minus is the fact that after 11pm the zone becomes completely "dead". There's no a single small store, mini market, small pharmacy, literally anything in more than 2km around. It makes no sense for me at all. There's no restaurant or bar or shop in the hotel itself, not even a snack dispenser. The reception closes at 7pm. But the rooms are very spacious, comfortable, they have balcony, kitchen, it is a complete not-so-small apartment and the price-quality rate is not bad. Just make sure you buy some goods in advance. There's also a bus stop very near.

The location was what we'd wanted, in a quiet area, close to the centre. The apartment was spacious for four of us, it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. I would have liked to have had the code which webneeded to access the building (out of Reception hours) given to me more prominently, in advance. That said, once I had succeeded in finding the email attachment with the code in it, it was fairly straightforward to get access to the apartment. On arrival, the apartment was clean on the surface, but the drawers had not been checked and cleaned. There were three broken items among the fittings (a cup, a ladle and the shower door). There was only comfortable seating for three people, despite it being booked for four (a second armchair was supplied on the second day of our visit, on request). There were no instructions about how to operate the sauna. Having stayed in two Hellsten hotels in Stockholm previously, and having liked both of them, I had expected more attention to detail in this hotel than we found to be the case.

We have been here for 3 days and I can say that it's good place for rent but as for me in winter time here's very cold. Apartment is equipped all necessary things for life, even hairdryer and ironing. Also you can check in and use sauna for free at the first floor.
