The gig was outside very well presented with TD @ one end & Jean Michel Jarre the other . I found it ok from the hotel & managed to negotiate the metro & transport system .

As Aussies visiting Helsinki, Ice Hockey was a must-do for us! The venue is easily accessible by public transport and taxi. Once inside, there’s plenty of places to grab something to eat or drink. Note: not allowed to take alcohol to your seat. Seats were great, inside temperature was very comfortable. The atmosphere was great, and the game was fast and fun to watch!

Nice ice stadium, with many stalls, with food and drinks, on 2 floors

The main hub of ice hockey is Southern Finland. There’s actually two rinks here. The main one for Liiga and Mestis games, and an underground one for training or U20 hockey. The stadium is well ran, security do a mighty fine job, and the staff are friendly. A good night out for hockey, although, after having been 20+ times I can say that it lacks the community charm that K-Vantta has.

It’s a nice venue, BUT: - The air circulation/ventilation/AC is extremely poor on the floor section for concerts. When I attended one person passed out and I felt like I will pass out too (thankfully didn’t) - Once again, it’s just so hot at the floor level! - No water offered to floor level attendees unlike some other venues I’ve been to - No drinks available when a late evening show finishes

First time at an ice hockey game and I loved it! Very friendly and exciting to watch the game. Will definitely be back.

This is the venue where Children of Bodom performed their last concert, so I decided to visit. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go inside, but it was a big hall.

Helsinki Ice Hall, known locally as "Nordis," is a historic arena that opened in 1966. Home to the HIFK ice hockey team, it offers an authentic Finnish sports experience. While the venue shows signs of age, it remains well-maintained and provides a nostalgic atmosphere for fans. The arena hosts various events, including hockey matches, concerts, and weekend flea markets. Accessible via trams 2, 3, and 7A, it's a must-visit for sports enthusiasts and those seeking a glimpse into Helsinki's sporting culture
