It is a scenic place when ever you go. You have many small temples, arches and each of them gives different views and options to take a lot of pics and DP.
You will see Shiv, Ganesh and Jain temples here.
You can visit the hill for both sunset and sun rise. To reach this hill you have to pass a small structure through which only one car can pass.
Whole hampi is very spiritual with a modern touch.
It is situated near to Virupaksha temple and you can descend to reach Virupaksha temple also.
In monsoon it can be slippery so take care of kids. However, anyone can visit.
Older people can also go as there are steps and many places to sit and enjoy.
Do carry water as it can get sweaty a lot no matter when you visit it. Avoid it in the afternoon.
It was supposed to be built between 9-14 century by Vijayanagra Empire and is quite different than any other place.
