Hemingway's Brewery Cairns Wharf

We have been there on our 3rd night in Cairns for Dinner and beer, lovely waterfront location with enough space around - food was lovely and the pizza was really really good! Thin and crisp with a good balance between toppings and dough, not overloaded. Vegan salad with fried halloumi also really good choice. Coming to the important things: beer paddle ca be recommended from us, good choices of beer.

Large place with plenty of seating inside and out, good range of beer, nice waterfront views. Good fries. If the tasting paddle allowed me to pick my own 5 to try that would be better. Shop for takeaways.

I applaud Hemingway's for our recent event there. It was awesome! I teach a line dancing class aboard a residential cruise ship that is traveling around the world and was docked just a few minutes away. We joined up with a local Cairns line dancing group and had a ball. Hemingway's provided a stage and dance floor and served a large number of cruise ship visitors and locals. They were extremely helpful. The food and beer was great!

Awesome first time experience visiting from Wisconsin… USA… The staff is incredible warm and friendly and very helpful… Sat here enjoyed a flight very awesome and great prices. Highly recommend a stop at Hemmingway’s.

Very nice place. Although is hot in Cairns, the fresh.wind make you.feel comfortable and.relax. Staff are nice and helpful

We ordered wings and two beers here. I am not a huge wing person because I’ve had some pretty terrible wings, but these were the opposite! Saucy and tender wings that were contenders for the best wings I’ve had out! There’s a wing Wednesday special too!

They have a beautiful casual space for an afternoon beer or two. Servers are fantastic. The beers are good too. We had the squid and chips. Unfortunately the squid was basically crunchy batter with not much squid at all. Chips were decent.

Wanted to try the beer paddle but seems that the prices have significantly increased compared to old Google map photos. Got a small beer instead which is good. Went at 3:30pm and was told that the kitchen was closed (3-5pm) - only pizza available. The Thai prawn pizza tasted good. If there was no cruise ship then you should have a nice harbour view but it was blocked by the cruise ship when I was there.
