"Hemingways, a bar just opposite, is another buzzy spot that happens to have the latest drinks licence of them all and serves a mean Pornstar Martini."

A lovely afternoon bottomless brunch had here to celebrate my mum's birthday. The staffing team were lovely and welcoming and the cocktails were visually stunning and tasty. Thank you Raul for the special flaming rum punch! A wonderful afternoon spent in Wimbledon. Will be back.

As locals to the area, we visited Hemingways on a warm spring evening, looking forward to a casual drink outside. From the start, the service was poor — my partner was spoken to aggressively while ordering. Things went downhill when one of our drinks arrived in a visibly dirty glass (grease, fingerprints, residue). After politely asking for a clean one, the same glass was returned. When my partner queried it at the bar, she was met with sarcasm, including a staff member asking whether she'd like to "choose a glass herself." A supposed owner later dismissed the issue entirely on our way out, refusing to take any accountability and doubting 'our version of events'. We walked just five minutes down the road to another venue and experienced the complete opposite: warm, friendly service, clean glassware, and great value for money. Hemingways charges premium prices, but delivers none of the basics — cleanliness, courtesy, or professionalism. We won’t be returning.

One of the worst bar experiences I have ever had. You would have thought somewhere called Hemingway's would be able to make a good daiquiri, but the drinks were completely unbalanced. We ordered two drinks for two people. When four turned up we politely told them we only ordered two. The water demanded that we had actually ordered four, after some discussion they removed the two additional drinks. When the bill came the two additional drinks were included. Again we were told that we had ordered them and so should pay, even though we didn't order or drink them! We eventually managed to pay for the drinks we had, but as we were leaving we were asked why we had ordered another two drinks, which we obviously hadn't ordered! The barmen then began to complain about each other and how bad they each are at their jobs, very unprofessional! The two male barmen were rude throughout and we won't be returning. I would suggest anyone thinking of coming here goes to one of the pubs in the village instead where you will get better drinks and much better service.

They do 4-7pm happy hour with nice food to go along with the cocktails. Liked the decor with cosy sofas and cushions as well as tables outside to enjoy the sun. The hairy guy makes really nice cocktails as he says, and very polite. Wish the glasses were a little bigger.

A wonderful wine bar that offers delicious pizzas and insane cocktails. Love the great upbeat vibes. The outdoor seating is a positive pleasure. One of the best places to chill out in the village

Thank you Kelly and Holly for hosting the best bottomless brunch…we were celebrating our friends birthday and we did it in style as brunch morphed into happy hour! The food (chorizo tacos are insane!), the cocktails, the service, the decor was on point! And it’s fur baby friendly too! Can’t wait to come back! 💃🏽🍾🍸🎉

Yelp
After walking around Wimbledon and soaking up the festivities of the tennis, my friend and I decided to stop here for a cocktail or three.... We immediately loved the decor and outdoor seating and decided to sit outside and people watch while we drank and had a catch up. They offer table service and our waiter was really nice and able to offer recommendations. Drinks are on the pricier side, but the cocktails were delicious and I suppose, it is Wimbledon! Later into the evening, reserved signs were put onto all the tables and the place really filled up. It seems this is a popular local spot. The atmosphere really got going and I would say it is a great place to meet friends in the evening. There is a young vibe, all the staff are fairly young but the customers were of a more mature age.

Yelp
If you like cocktails, then you will find an eclectic list here to satisfy all. The location is great, it is right in the Wimbledon Village and the world famous Wimbeldon Tennis ground is within seeing distance. I can imagine that during the Wimbledon tennis season, it must be absolutely packed as there is plenty of outdoor seating and it simply has a great vibe. I wish I lived closer to it, i would definitely go more often. The decor is simplistic, modern and looks brilliant. You may think that is would be quite expensive being right next to the tennis ground and Wimbledon being quite expensive in general, but prices are the same as any other lush London bar. The service is fantastic, everybody seemed cheeful and smiles were everywhere, when in such an environment, it rubs off on you, so I had a great time on my one and only visit. It is not as if Wimbledon is just around the corner to me, so I wont be going in the foreseeable future, but look forward to my next trip. Wimbldon is a great area, and Ecplipse is somewhere to chill out after a longs day walking and shopping there.

Yelp
*the* place for cocktails in Wimbledon Village, even waitress service into the night if you are lucky enough to get a table.

Yelp
Great late night spot in the village...can be tough to get in at times though. Try slipping the doorman some cash, always seems to help.

Yelp
Place changed owners in July '09. They had promised a new interior and approach. They had great bartenders who have all left. Previously they made some of the best cocktails in SW London. Now it is quiet most nights, not much buzz and no more watermelon martinis. A place to go if you are under 30 (most nights) or want to meet someone under 30. Not the place it use to be.
