Hemingways Ol Seki Mara Camp

Wow! We had a truly amazing experience during our stay at Ol Seki Hemingways. The individual tent structures are beautifully crafted with every amenity that you could possibly need and the views over the plains and wild animals were just incredible. We watched giraffes, elephants, African buffalo and other wildlife from our deck every day. The food and beverages were very good and the staff were so accommating and engaging!|The driving/walking guides that we had for our 4 night stay were charming, funny and remarkably experienced and educational. Ben and Sydney made our stay so joyful and memorable !

We visited Ol Seki in June 2025 for our honeymoon. This was our first safari so we didn’t know what to expect, but this exceeded any hopes or expectations we could have had. Debbie was fantastic in running the camp & making us feel very welcome & making our time truly special. The food was delicious & a special effort was made to accommodate gluten free requirements- that was really appreciated, thank you. The room was exceptional, we were lucky enough to see giraffes and elephants from our balcony. We loved the little touches of hot water bottles in the evenings and coffee for wake up calls. A huge shout out to Mike & Evans who were the best guides we could have asked for. They were very knowledgable, friendly and fun to be around. We got close to a huge array of animals and learnt so much.||Thank you for the best 6 days. We loved every second - it was an unforgettable experience.

It was a spectacular trip with 2 families. I have been on safari before, but I was blown away and saw things I never imagined I would. The staff and guides were beyond incredible. Special thanks to Caroline and Julius with house staff. Isaac, Rachel, and Sydney are incredibly knowledgeable and made sure all of our rides were perfect. We created memories of a lifetime, and I have been all over the world on luxury vacations. All 6 kids (3 in each family) said this was their favorite vacation. |My sincerest gratitude to all of the staff and Debbie (who had everything organized perfectly) for this wonderful experience.

We loved this accommodation. It has everything that you need. Beautiful tents, and the morning and night game rides were excellent. We saw so many animals. Our guides Ben and Evans were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They made all of our outings a lot of fun. We felt safe the entire time we were there, the staff takes very good care of you. Laylar in the dining area was awesome. She made us feel like family. Debbie, the manager helped us coordinate our schedules, she was very kind. The setting of this hotel is undescribable, we truly enjoyed our stay at Hemingway‘s Ol Seki.

Wow, what a place! It ticks all the boxes for a memorable safari. It has an isolated location with stunning views that bring you up close with nature - we saw lions, elephants and other animals from the lodge itself. It's only 10 minutes drive from the nearby dirt airstrip. The quality of the "tents", restaurant, lounge, and swimming pool is exceptional. The food served is delicious. But above all is the attentive service provided by Debbie and her team of guides and caterers. I will definitely return here in the future and highly recommend the lodge to other travellers.

From start to finish our experience at Hemingways Ol Seki was absolutely incredible. When we arrived we were greeted by the most welcoming and friendly staff who couldn't have done any more to make our stay special. ||Our tent was beautifully decorated, felt like a true luxury place to stay and it had fantastic views over the Mara. It had every amenity you could possibly want including an outdoor shower. We also received a complimentary welcome gift and champagne to congratulate us on our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. My favourite thing about our tent had to be the little hatch which we were delivered our coffee in the morning to wake us up for our first game drive!||The food morning, afternoon and night is delicious and there is such a variety to choose from so you don't get bored of the food and even more picky eaters would have something. The wines they offer are lovely and again the staff are incredibly attentive at all times. As a surprise one night Debbie (Manager) organised a private dinner for me and my husband in a cave underneath the camp which was so appreciated and so special. ||The main event was obviously the game drives! Every morning and evening we managed to see something special that we'll never forget thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our guides David and Sydney. They always seemed to find the exact right spot at the right time to get the best photos and to see the action as closely as possible. We even saw a hippo giving birth which is apparently a very rare occurrence and a fantastic spot by David! It is also very clear by how the animals behave around the vehicles that the guides are deeply caring and respectful of them. The animals aren't fearful or aggressive towards the cars but are happy for you to watch what they are up to. ||Over all our stay at Hemingways was unforgettable in the best way possible. We couldn't recommend it more. ||Thank you to everyone who made our stay so amazing.

The Best Honeymoon Kickoff We Could Have Dreamed Of! We couldn’t have started our honeymoon in a better way. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. There were so many highlights, but we have to start with the food—truly outstanding. Every meal was different, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It was easily some of the best food we’ve ever had, and the chef is simply incredible. The staff made us feel completely at home. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and Debbie was especially lovely and attentive. But we have to say—the absolute highlight of our entire trip was Mike, our guide. None of this would have been as magical without him. He is the funniest person ever—and that’s coming from someone British! (We don’t say that lightly.) If you have the chance to request Mike for your game drives, do it. Thank you, Ol Seki, for an unforgettable start to our honeymoon.

Wow. What an amazing experience. We recently stayed for a two nights (next time it will be for 3-4 nights) with family and friends in the Simba and one other camp. Our guide Amos was an amazing guide, showing us all there was to see and accommodating our requests. He is exceptional and very knowledgeable. He knows the lands well. The service was impeccable and Layler and Moses and security were wonderful. They gave us all the privacy that we wanted, and were engaging with us when we desired to be silly and chat. Can’t say enough about how well run the place is. The staff is exceptional.
