Henri's Cafe

Really nice to see an old school place like this, still thriving in today’s world. Beautiful building on the corner, and an excellent old diner atmosphere with great food and service. My food was cooked just as I wanted and arrived quickly to my booth with a great view through big front windows. I hope to enjoy this diner again someday on another trip.

Henri’s Cafe is one of the best places for breakfast and a cozy start to the day. The food is always fresh, tasty, and made with care — from the classic breakfast plates to the smaller details, everything feels just right. The service is excellent; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a comfortable and relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a nice meal with family or friends without feeling rushed. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Henri’s Cafe is truly a gem, and I look forward to coming back again and again.

This place is straight out of a movie scene. Pulp fiction style diner! Pro: - atmosphere and environment - affordable - quaint - service - large menu - great coffee - bacon Con: - pancakes were tough and the bottom was chewy It was definitely a wonderful experience. Has a loyal customer base!

Very nice place for breakfast in the oxnard area, food is very good and the staff is friendly, prices are also very fair compared to other places

I stopped by and got three breakfast burritos to go. Being $14 each I would’ve expected them to be a little bigger but overall was not bad. Tasted pretty good as well.

5 stars Henry’s Café in Oxnard has been a staple for as long as I can remember—I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It’s hands down my go-to spot for breakfast. I usually order the steak and eggs, and everything is always cooked to perfection. The steak is tender and flavorful, the egg whites are spot-on, and I’ll often get a side of fruit and sourdough toast to round it out. The prices are more than fair for the quality and portions you get. One of my favorite things about this place is sitting at the counter. You get a front-row seat to the action in the kitchen—watching the cooks do their thing is part of the whole experience. The vibe is always welcoming, and they treat you like family. I always leave full, happy, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in Oxnard or nearby and want a solid breakfast spot, I highly, highly recommend Henry’s. You won’t regret it.

First we order a fresh fruit waffle and received a regular waffle. It was sent back to add fruit. We kept been rushed. Mid waffle and with one of us halfway through a sandwich and not even a dip to the fries the waiter showed up and ask if we needed boxes. Mind you we were still eating and the waiter brought the check and instructed to pay at the front. We were not finished and not ready to leave just yet. I took out the my card to get ready and the waiter rush to ask if she should take it to the front to pay. I found it wierd as they had told us we needed to pay at the front cashier and told her I would go pay in a little bit. We were waiting for one of us to come back from the restroom when the waiter made it's final appearance and ask if we were done we should leave because they needed the table we were there for less then an hour and we were just waiting for the last of us to come back from the restroom. We told her ok we would leave shortly. When we were paying we saw that several customers that where there were still there drinking coffee ☕️ and chatting. I really can't understand why we where targeted by this waiter 🤷‍♀️ and I don't think I have to tell how unpleasant this brunch was thanks to the waiter. Food was bla not bad in flavor but not memorable.

I really like how Maria serves us, she is sweet and kind and makes us feel welcomed each time we dine here, but we noticed that her schedule changed because we hardly see her, and I heard other customers asking for her please don’t cut her hours she is a great waitress.
