"Henry's Kitchen, Midland. A little mom-and-pop eatery in Midland's town heart, serving all the classic dishes you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. This is the type of place you want to go with a few friends (and a few bottles of wine) for a boozy mid-week noodle and Peking-style pork chop treat. Henry's Kitchen also has a 7 day a week delivery service."

The food here is OK. Its OK for if you are looking for a restaurant in the Midland area that is open after 9pm - that is not junk food and that you do not have to make it yourself. I have been to Henry's Kitchen a few times in the past 10 years and the food has ranged from poor -average-good.

Loved it. One of those little, unassuming hole-in-the-walls that I've been meaning to go for ages. Went in on a Tuesday night with a mate, dead as, not another person in, but the owner was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious, well-priced, and made quickly. Classic Australian Chinese done well. Can't wait to order a heap of takeaway next time.

Absolutely disgusting and should be shut down. Didn’t even receive a dish we paid $26 for. Prawns were rotting, I’d say they were off by at least a week. We called when we first received our order to get our Szechuan Scallops actually delivered. Told they were remaking and will deliver. And then we called up to get a refund after discovering rotten prawns in our dumplings.

Wouldn't even give it one star ( but have to, to review).Had heard it was good, either things have changed or my friends have no taste buds. Ordered fried rice and the rice was burnt! Very insulting that they didnt think we would notice. The spicy black pepper chilli chicken was overcooked and we were fighting to find chicken. And how can you mess up prawn toast, easy if its oily and overcooked! Have eaten at most local chinese places and will stick to them in future. So so dissappointed. It was all just overcooked.

The stay chicken was absolutely horrible. The rice was under cooked. Food was delivered cold and by a very rude man. We were all very very disappointed 😣 For the price we paid $90 for 6 dishes it was really not worth it at all.

Owner is friendly , food is fresh and surprisingly I did not feel thirsty after having their food which I normally do feel very thirsty after having outside food . This could indicate that they don't add msg / preservative in the food which I appreciate that. Will go back again for sure.

This was my first time at this restaurant, & the interior was quite nice, our meals were nice but one of our dishes had no flavour, but all in all it was quite lovely.

The price was ok but the meat in the preparations was too little. Not happy. Better solution would be to walk across to the Chinese place in the shopping center. The food was better there

Yelp
This place does delivery, my food arrived in 35 minutes. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.. Anyway, really nice food, the fried rice was delicious, although the chicken and corn soup didn't look very appetizing, the sweet and sour pork came separately in a paper bag and the sauce in a container which I found strange. Satay chicken was nice but could have been a bit spicier. Overall, good food and I will be ordering from there again. I'd recommend it to my friends and family.

Yelp
We were first attracted to this Chinese restaurant by the 70,s branding. The front of the shop looks like it has been here for ages and it looks like it ain't going anywhere. I think you can just tell by the look of a restaurant if the food is good. I don't go to Midland very often, so I cant tell you if it is an iconic restaurant for the area, or whether it has been here as long as the town hall, or even if it is a family restaurant that has past down generations, all I know is that we had lunch here and it was damn good. We had satay beef and a chicken curry with fried rice and it was all cooked to perfection, the service was fast, the food was tasty and the price was cheap. I will make sure I drop in for lunch the next time I am in Midland.
