Henry Summer

We had our Work Christmas party here in the private function room and it was wonderful. All the staff were so friendly and lovely, especially our bartender Ana and the Manager, Corey! The atmosphere of the night was perfect, and the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the rigatoni and the chicken!! Thank you guys for such a great night :D

Nice lively atmosphere, great place to get a few drinks. Limited food selection as expected for a place know for well made alcohol. Friendly and outgoing staffs. Well decorated with many greeneries and vibrant colours. Overall well designed bar with many instaworthy spots both inside and out. Great choice of music that fits the vibes of the night life in Perth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to drink.

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating. Two bars for the more open spaces and 1-2 bars at the dance floor. Greatly and cozily designed/decorated with a good selection of beers and friendly staff. Haven't tried any food, but I've been three times and would still like to go back.

Had a really relaxing late lunch at Henry Summer. Gorgeous with a chill garden vibe, hanging plants and modern chic decor. The food was amazing! The fish and chips fried to perfection, the grill chicken was tender and flavourful. The sharing board of ham+cheese+hummus are equally delicious with the bread basket that comes with it.

Great ambience. The greenery adds to the experience. One waitress was friendly and polite. The food... I think a little overpriced. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 - 3 to share for $95 - I don't think it was enough to feed one. I did like the dipping sauces that came with it. My friend ordered the black chicken salad and it was also a very a small serve for $18. The cheese board were about $34 - the one we got, my husband thought it could have been easily replicated with produce from the Coles deli. With some improvement to the menu, it would be a GREAT place for a nice meal and a catch up.

Fantastic little hidden gem, friendly service and staff. A perfect location for family get togethers and in this case my daughter's wedding.

A great addition to the open and relaxing summer venues of Perth. Located in Aberdeen street Northbridge Henry Summer is a great open air venue to sit back and enjoy Perth’s great weather. Great music playing and friendly staff are a plus! You can even get your sunscreen and insect repellent here!

fantastic place in the city. Has a nice outdoor chill vibe and nicely decorated by many plants. Their cocktails are very good although it would be more worth it to order the jugs. food menu has quite a variety with the pork belly standing out. staff is nice and helpful. overall nice place to chill with your friends. Do recommend.

A beautiful new restaurant and bar in Northbridge with kitschy but cute tropical oasis themed decor that truly lives up to its name of summer. Overall, the place is gorgeous. I absolutely adore the hanging plants all over the roof and in pots scattered all around the restaurant. Most of the chairs are a kind of wicker and topped with fluffy flower printed pillows, and though they're not really comfortable they make the place look nice. It's a large space with a great outdoor sitting area with a separate bar for those long summer drinking sessions. On a blazing hot 36 degree day after a sweaty walk in Kings Park, we were not pleased by the fact that there is no air conditioner in this restaurant, but luckily some refreshing cocktails and delicious food made it a bit more bearable. We ordered the Pineapple Pop, Forever Young and Sunny's Mai Tai, all of which are delicious, refreshing and not overpoweringly sweet. 10 extra points for gorgeous presentation too. The food was also really nice and fresh with Vietnamese flavours. The Tasmanian salmon had a perfectly crispy skin and a fresh slaw, the snapper ceviche was delicate and refreshing with the mango puree on top, and the blackened chicken salad came with an insane amount of chicken but not much salad. The sugarcane prawn DIY rice paper rolls were a bit disappointing and they really skimp you on the rice paper rolls. The pickled crudites were colourful and a great addition of bright tangy flavours that complemented all dishes. There were so many really delicious and fresh looking salads that I had to hold back. A great spot, but with the lack of aircon I'd probably come back towards sunset or on a less hot day!

From the photos online I didn't realize Henry Summer is actually a really big venue with multiple areas. It's very lush and you feel like you're really out of northbridge. Good place to have a drink, and while they have a large enough food menu it doesn't feel like a dinner venue. Definitely more of a place to see and be seen, but it can be fun for a group to catch up or an event.

I had an amazing experience at the bar with the manager James, he had a great expertise in cocktails and I told him exactly the type of cocktail I wanted and he overachieved both times. He is worthy of control of the cocktail menu that's for sure, he knows his stuff. Cheers, Jim

A group of us went to this place recently and have to say we were completely underwhelmed. Nobody to greet us when we went in, just one girl ignoring us from behind the bar. Food was very average and not worth what we paid. The salmon was $28.00 and literally all you get is a really small piece of fish on some Asian coleslaw. The fact that there is nothing else (like a mash) makes the plate look half full with the tiny portion size and feels really overpriced and unsatisfying. For what we got, $16.00 would probably have been a more realistic price. The stuffed olive starter was $9.00 for about 5 small olives in a batter - honestly, there are better places around Perth which serve a whole bowl of gourmet olives for the same price. My husband had the rotisserie beef and it was served cold. Quite surprising when you're expecting a hot dish! So no, we won't be back to this venue.

Just got into Perth and decided to check out the afternoon delights. On recommendation came here. Great little location reasonably priced 'for Perth'. Great bar staff and good people overall.
