Henry's Puffy Tacos Express

First time in town and wanted to try out some puffy tacos. Henry’s definitely delivered. From their tender meat and amazing flavors to that puffy crispy shell to seal the deal. Henry’s definitely deserves a try.

We came for the puffy tacos! I ordered the spicy beef fajita taco and it was delicious. Also tried the queso and was pleased with the taste and consistency paired with freshly fried corn chips. Yum. The picadillo chalupa was also really good. The carne guisada puffy taco was so tender and flavorful! Beans and rice also fresh made and delicious. We were very pleased with the kind service Kiera provided. Thank you Kiera. We will plan to visit again when we come back to San Antonio. Thank you Henry’s for filling up our tummies before our trip back home.

Cute and cozy little taco joint. We ordered an enchurrito (wet burrito), and it was HUGE! the plate was so heavy, very generous portions for the price. I also ordered the combination plate with one chicken fajita puffy taco and one chicken enchilada. We love their puffy tacos!

Henry's is our family favorite for over 30 plus years. We love to have family dinner, birthdays, hanging out, and group meetings here. We love to bring our family and our out of town families here. The food has always been consistent in taste, and the portions are just perfect for the price .

We’ve been coming to this Henry’s for years but I highly doubt that after the last handful of times now. Everytime we order picadillo , it’s practically a potato and nerve taco. Very disappointed in the quality of food , it’s gone downhill. And the portion is a joke, not even half a scoop of picadillo in a taco for 3$ 🤣

The original location is the place to go if you want Henry's puffy tacos. The tacos are full of meat and chicken. You will leave needing a nap. The only thing I didn't like was the beans. They tasted like they had tomato sauce in them but everything else was delicious.

My second time here and definitely will NOT be my last time. Rustic place with nice atmosphere, great service, very friendly staff. The food is the great very tasty. If you haven't had puffy tacos, you gotta try them here. They're outstanding. I recommend this for a good dinner or even a quick taco and beer. 2 👍🏼👍🏼

First time trying the puffy tacos and really enjoyed them. Cute little place, good service, good value. The puffy shell tasted fresh, light and crispy, and tacos were filled with delicious ingredients. Would definitely recommend.
