I came here to watch the AFLW, I was impressed by the ample places to sit and watch my team play. Lots of open air seating as well as an old fashioned hill, very friendly staff making sure that everyone was able to enjoy themselves.

Great park in a centralised location to watch the AFLW! The grounds remind me of my childhood watching the local teams from the hill. Very family friendly and they permit your picnic blankets, chairs and food.

Place has no shade so that was a problem for me being a red head also limited seat so take a rug.

Family Fun day Get your toes on the ground and meet the players . No other ground in NSW can you do this. Old school footy. 🏉 You see the Sharks feeder club and locals .

Henson Park, home of the Rugby League Newtown Jets… “Go the Jets!!” Is a phrase you will often hear on game day. A beautiful sports ground in the middle of a renovation (2025) brings people, families, friends and pets out for a fun day. In the Sydney suburb of Marrickville near bus routes, soak in the atmosphere of game days.

Not a bad ground came down to watch AFLW. Currently building a new stand but the old one is pretty good. I enjoyed it.

Awesome dog park and nice little playground next to the tennis courts. Great to do running around the pitch or on the hills.

Had a great time here watching the AFLW! There were loads of food and drink stands (but no BYO) on game day, and the park banks around the field so you can sit on a raised hill to watch the game. Not a great angle to watch at, but the price more than made up for it!
