What a fun little find we came across in Wabasha when we were looking for a lunch spot!
When we stopped in today around 2 it wasn’t busy (3 people at the bar). It did take a little bit for someone to come over to our table and other than the “hi” when we walked in it would have been nice to be told to seat ourselves and that someone would be with us.
I was intrigued by and ordered the Bumbleberry Margarita!!! Yum. It was so tasty and perfectly balanced with the salted rim, lime, local jam, and honey!! I would order this drink again and again.
We decided to order flatbreads and we settled on Hog Heaven and Pineapple Dazed. Our food came out quickly. The crust on the flatbreads was nice and crispy, just how we like it. My husband and I were both impressed with Pineapple Dazed— the spicy hatch chiles paired perfectly with the sweet pineapple and corn, the sourness of the pickled onion, and the creaminess of the kewpie mayo— so much yumminess! We were less impressed with Hog Heaven— honestly, it was just bland— none of the ingredients stood out. We ended up taking home 3 pieces of this and I will say that it was actually better cold— the flavors popped! I think with some tweaking this one could also be great.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with Herb + Arrow today and we would definitely return if in the area!
