"Herb has some of our favorite Thai food in the city. It’s a small restaurant, and the menu is prix fixe. You can choose three courses for $58, five courses for $78, or seven courses for $98. The spicy fish soup is fantastic, featuring a light coconut broth that packs a lot of heat. Even the seemingly unappetizing grilled tofu is delicious, thanks to the addition of roasted ground chili, shallots, and mint, which lend it a lot of flavor. "Owner and chef Patty Neumson seeks to redefine Thai cuisine at her upscale spot in Edgewater. Instead of a long menu, guests have the choice of a three- or five-course prix fixe meal. Familiar flavor profiles emerge in elevated dishes including seared scallops in spicy chili lime sauce; fried prawn with sweet and sour mango sauce; and beef or tofu with green curry.
