Herberton Wild River Caravan Park

Where do I begin... an absolute gem of a place to stay. The caravan park owners are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. One of the best places I have stayed any where. Pet friendly and welcoming to our fur friend. Peaceful and a very quiet place to get away. Prices are very very reasonable. Amenities are clean and spotless. Also kid friendly my son enjoyed being there every moment spent. I will be back!

This is a lovely caravan park. The atmosphere is very homely and comfortable. The van site we had was very spacious, not close to other vans. Camp kitchen was full of cooking equipment, and is set out very well, down to checkered table cloths. Was supplied with a metal fire pit to have our own fire. Shower/toilet block spacious and clean. No pool, but that didn’t bother us. I would recommend this caravan park. Staff very friendly and welcoming with a smile 😊

Stayed there 2 days. Easy to find and caravan access is a breeze. Attention is paid to the ensuite style bathrooms and they are always clean. The proprietors are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the town and it's attractions. Can't forget to mention the price for the powered sites. Very surprising. You could easily stay a week and use it as a base. Great campers kitchen too.

A great place for a quiet stay in the Atherton Tablelands/Herberton. The facilities are not completely new, but very clean and fully functional. Pets are allowed. There are a few dogs running around the site. The historic village Herberton is within walking distance (15 minutes). The owners are incredibly nice and always happy to help with any question.

We all have our favourite van site and top of my list is Herberton Wild River caravan park. The staff are super friendly and spend time with customers around the fire pit. The location is perfect, lots of birds that gather together for feeding. Kitchen better equipped than many Discovery parks. Large ensuite shower cubicles.

Herberton Wild River Caravan Park is a quaint place to stay with lots to see! Set on a spacious bush block with stunning natural scenery, the park offers a peaceful, laidback atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. The large RV bays are well-equipped with all the amenities you’d expect, but what really sets this place apart is the attention to detail. The camp kitchen and fire pit area are beautifully setup and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm, traditional country feel that makes you feel instantly at home. The owners clearly care about the experience they’re offering and it shows in every corner of the park. A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay — we’ll definitely be back!

We loved this campsite. Sufficiently organised to run smoothly but still relaxed and easygoing. Warm welcome and great facilities, including a great camp kitchen. Great place!
