A nice place for brunch or lunch in Grand Canal Dock. The food is very tasty and their menu have a variety of healthy meals like the Champions Breakfast, some salads for lunch or a little sinful like their blueberries pancakes with orange butter flavour and the french toast. Regular coffee, good matcha and chai latte. But one of the things that makes us return here is the customer service, the staff are really amazing, friendly and always helpful and welcoming you with a big smile. Feels like going to eat at home.

Breakfast of champions! Absolutely delicious and super filling — I didn’t feel hungry for the rest of the day! Everything was spot on: perfectly poached eggs, creamy avocado, fresh smoked salmon, and a squeeze of lime that tied it all together. Oh, and the coffee? Smooth, rich, and just what I needed. Loved the cozy spot and the lovely view. Definitely coming back for more!

Lovely visit to Herbstreet for brunch this morning. Glad we had booked as it was very busy. This however didn’t compromise on the friendly welcome that we were greeted with and the attentive service throughout. We’d booked an indoor table but asked if we could sit outside as it was such a beautiful day and the outdoor seating area at the front had a lovely view over the docks and was basking in sunshine. This was accommodated and early explained when the table was to be returned. Great menu with a range of breakfast/lunch options. Food was delicious and portions very generous. Hadn’t visited this area of Dublin before but lots of interesting sightseeing opportunities close by for afterwards. Hope to visit again.

Google
Best pancakes I’ve ever had and so filling. I’ve also tried the “breakfast of champions” with the smoked salmon and poached eggs on top of the rösti which was absolutely fantastic.

I brought my grandmother here before the book of Mormon. We both got chicken and waffles. It was her first time getting them!! She absolutely loved it and enjoyed her very first mimosa as well. The only letdown with restaurant is that it is very loud and they play heavy bass music, which makes it hard to have conversation!

Google
Maple and bacon French toast was delicious. Would definitely come back! I felt that the portion could’ve been a bit bigger for the price, either an extra piece of bacon or french toast. Still lovely

Google
I would rate 4.5 if that was allowed. Our drinks were great and arrived at the table quickly. The Halloumi Fries were sooo good. My daughter got the mussels and fries...what a dish. The bowl of mussels was heaping. The steak and fries were a pass for me. The steak was tough and the fries bland. The service was quick and accurate! See pics for dishes.

Google
Nice little ‘neighbourhood restaurant’ as they proclaim on a sign outside. But it’s true. It has a nice, cozy and easy going atmosphere and everyone from the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We had the Chicken and Waffles and a Full Irish breakfast and unfortunately part of the Irish breakfast were quite cold or stale as they have to pre prepare it. Overall it was relatively bland. The chicken and waffles were tasty as well as the fries.

Yelp
Amazing brunch. The Irish breakfast was delicious, the French toast was perfect, every bite was wonderful. The owner was very welcoming and the staff was very attentive without being interruptive. Lovely spot for brunch on the water!

Yelp
The food is spectacular! Mussels are amazing in every respect. My daughter had the pasta of the day... a culinary masterpiece. I had the whiskey sour. Very different than in the States... we should steal the recipe. It's way better! Service was superb! Don't miss this place.

Yelp
I'm in love with this restaurant! It's literally right by the waters so the view is amazing! I came here around 10:30am, a little after prime breakfast time and it wasn't really that busy, which was nice as I can enjoy my breakfast peacefully. I sat right by the giant window so that I can admire the serene beauty of the sun reflecting on the water. The main reason why I chose this restaurant is that's it's the closest one to my hotel and where my husband works so that he can easily join me for a meal. Additionally, I really wanted to try the Irish black pudding which was surprisingly hard to find. I've tried different types of blood sausages from other cultures so I was pretty excited to try the one from Ireland. I got the standard Irish breakfast and enjoyed everything except for the beans. It was a little too sweet in my opinion. I also really enjoyed the cup of matcha latte! They made it really well. Eventually my husband was able to join me and I ordered him the same thing and an orange juice. Super glad that the orange juice is fresh squeezed. We both enjoy our breakfast and really took our time to soak in everything! By the time we're done, the restaurant was getting ready for lunch service. They even have blankets for the outdoor seating in case it gets cold.

Yelp
Located near the office it's a good choice for lunch. Service is quick and food was pretty decent. I ordered the wild mushroom pasta. Dessert of warm chocolate brownie came with cream instead of the usual vanilla ice cream but I still ate it all up. It was so good.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, great service, great view of the canal (if you sit near the windows), but sort of overpriced and mediocre brunch. It was okay. I was just expecting a little more based on the raving reviews. I ordered the breakfast of champions and had a bite of my husband's Mexican eggs. The avocado salsa in both of these dishes was not fresh and the eggs in Mexican eggs were over cooked. The yokes weren't runny at all. The cassava rosti in the breakfast of champions was huge and crispy on the outside. The smoked salmon was fresh and plentiful. Since there are so many highly rated brunch places in the area, I'm not sure if we would return. But it's worth checking out if you're in the area and don't want to venture too far away from grand canal dock.

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times over the years , and it's always been an enjoyable experience. Nice choice of drink, and a nice selection of food, which is very tasty. The staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and put you at ease , and will suggest some wines to try with your meal. Early bird menus before a gig or pancakes for breakfast are worth checking out! Great spot!

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER I WAS SCAMMED! I was charged twice the amount I was supposed to pay. This was an incredibly disheartening experience. The servers have no respect for foreigners and it's honestly disgusting.

Nathanael A.

Yelp
Super solid service, food, and environment. Staff made it really easy to order and made suggestions that were spot on. The pancakes paired with fruit were amazing. Super fluffy with the tartness of the fruit cutting through the sweetness of the syrup was perfect.

Peter B.

Yelp
What an amazing breakfast. Staff was some of the friendliest I have had anywhere. Eggs Benedict was simply delicious, and the lattes hit the spot. Definitely recommend this to any travelers.

Yelp
We enjoyed a lovely meal outside with a nice view of the canal. It took awhile to get our order placed but not long to wait. We were wowed by the giant pitcher of Pimms and cute drinking glasses. Four types to choose from was a nice selection. The food was excellent. I had a nice grilled piece of cod atop mashed potatoes with leeks, broccoli and tomatoes. My companions had the fish tacos, two giant serves with dipping sauces and cassava crisps; and the large bowl of spicy chicken wings. Those were cooked perfectly and paired well with the blue cheese dressing. Service was slow getting the bill. I hate having to flag someone down when they don't check on the table. However, it was a pleasant meal on a sunny day in Dublin. How lucky!

Yelp
I would definitely recommend lunch in this place. Friendly, fast and helpful service with beautiful food. I had the beef burger with cheddar and bacon, perfectly cooked and so tasty. I also had the baked cheesecake for dessert, which was so good I forgot to take a photo before I started eating. The decor is uber-cool but still very comfortable. the place manages to walk the fine line of being hip but not totally up itself.

Yelp
Great customer service! The waiter and the hostess were very personable and friendly. Food was great and healthy . Very good vibes here . I would definitely recommend to come here with your friends to grab a bite to eat.

Yelp
My wife, daughter and son were extremely hungry and just got to our hotel. We looked for a breakfast/brunch place and saw the reviews for this place. I must say we ALL were very disappointed. As with my other reviews, this will be broken down. 1. Service - If I were the owner, I would retrain the employees on how to treat customers, particularly the girl. My wife asked a question about the tomatillo sauce. Is it like a salsa or just sauce? The girl server said it is on the side. My wife asked again. But is it like a salsa or just a sauce? She replied again, if you don't like it, it is on the side anyway. Three times we did this and her reply was the same. (Not what my wife asked) I had to specify and told my wife it is a sauce. Maybe it was something lost in "accent" land as we are in Ireland, but she spoke English like we did. When the food was delivered, they were giving us wrong plates. They gave me my son's, etc.... not a difficult thing to notate who gets what. Food - Green Eggs. Poached eggs where way over done, and the avocado tasted like it was over ripe. Very Bland as well. The Champion Breakfast was ok but the smoked salmon part was a little off. The little Irish. LMAO. The Sausage was mushy? How is sausage mushy? The SNOTTY scrambled eggs is pretty much testimony of the rest. OMG the bread was more like a brick of concrete than bread. French Toast. YEAH you can't really mess up French Toast, UNLESS you charge 3.00 Euros for extra Maple Syrup. REALLY??? Tea and Coffee. I am literally dumbfounded. My Americano was Lukewarm at best, and the tea, which was supposed to be an Irish tea, tasted like a typical Orange tea but with a fishy taste. I am not sure if we hit them on a bad day or what, but this was just plain bad. Sorry to the owner, I am being honest.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! So.. turns out everything shuts down in Dublin on Sunday until 12pm. And closes early too!. We stopped here for brunch and were so glad we did. The food was fresh, hot and delicious - just what 4 starving americans needed! I ordered a short stack (3 pancakes) interesting fact that I discovered.. it doesn't include free syrup! That was surprising to me because in the states that comes included. I added fresh strawberries and whipped cream too. I chose a side of "skinny fries" hoping for some sort of hashbrowns, but quickly discovered its literally skinny fries.. and they come piping hot with a delicious dipping sauce. I also couldnt resist a cup of hot earl grey herbal tea (fave) since Im abroad. It came with a dish of brown and regular white sugar cubes. I tried it with the brown and liked it. (Will have to try that at home) I would absolutely eat here again the next time I visit Ireland. The food and service were great.

Yelp
We went for the Sunday brunch. We got there right when they opened which was lucky because it got busy fast. I had the florentine Benedict and my husband had the regular Benedict. It was the most delicious Benedict I've ever had. The sauce was extremely flavorful. The ham on my husband's was thin sliced and very tasty. I also thought that the view of the canal was lovely.

Yelp
My sister and I stopped here for brunch on a rare Irish sunny Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, there was no outside seating available but we were seated next to a window so we still got to enjoy the weather. We started with a pitcher of Pimm's classic which was hit-the-spot delicious and decently sized. My sister had the Eggos Mexicalos and I had the french toast with bananas, pecans, and clotted cream. My sister's eggs were like a cheesey casserole with eggs baked in a tomato sauce and it was delicious. She raved about the accompanying guac, too. My french toast was superb. It was nice and crispy so it had that good sorta-burnt taste, and the accompanying bananas, pecans, and syrup added a good flavour. The portion of clotted cream was HUGE - it was basically an ice cream scoop of clotted cream which I love and which is a rarity in America so I was beyond excited. I am slightly embarrassed to say that I inhaled that french toast (I probably could have eaten another dollop of cream if it was presented). The service was decent but a bit disorganized in that I don't think the same person ever waited on us - i.e., a different person took our orders, brought the drinks, brought the food, and brought the check. We were there at the end of the brunch service so a lot of the staff were eating at a table nearby ours so maybe that contributed to the disorganization. However, the food delivery was speedy and everyone was nice enough. Minus one star because I wish they had a better organized offering of sides like bacon, sausage, etc. They seemed to have them available as add-ons within the menu offerings but it was unclear whether one could order them with all the dishes.

Yelp
This is a great place with great food. We had a nice place outside in the sun. It's nice to sit there, watch the people. It is popular place. People accept to wait up to 30 minutes outside to get a table. The food is delicious. They have several egg dishes. I have tried the eggos mexicanos. Great taste. Good place for breakfast and/or brunch.

Yelp
A case of hype and not much substance behind it... really not sure why queues are out the door in this place. Most of our group ordered burgers which are good but nothing outstanding. I ordered the special - lobster roll, which was lacking in lobster and in a bread roll so dry I had to smear it with mayo. Chips seemed to be the frozen shoestring type. Saving grace is the reasonably OK service covering a table of 8 but otherwise, the whole experience was meh. Not returning.

Yelp
Very good restaurant with amazing view, especially in a sunny day. Extremely courteous and attentive staff. Delicious food (loved breakfast of champions)

Yelp
Excellent enjoyed the food tremendously. The view of the canal was fantastic. The staff most excellent in performance and conduct.

Yelp
Enjoyable meal with the team. Service was efficient and friendly. Ordered the seafood soup, the broth was as described ... sweet, sour and slightly spicy. It was chock full of seafood - large prawns and bay shrimp, shellfish and other things. It was slightly hard to eat as the large prawns were large so had to use a fork/knife to take it from the bowl and then cut it and then return it back to the broth. There was also crispy lotus chips to add to the broth which brought on another depth of flavor and texture.

Yelp
It baffles me why a place that does such great breakfast with so many office spaces in its surrounds, opens only at 8:30. This may explain why it is so quiet on an idle Tuesday morning. To be honest, the service here does leave a lot to be desired. They tend to be a little on the scawpy side. The food, though, has always been a delight and is the reason I keep coming back for more! The Belgian waffle is gluten free and so incredibly tasty, I'm sure it can't be good for me, but an excellent treat without the stomach bloat! The coffee wasn't half bad either.

Yelp
Ahhhh Herbstreet! We were happy to get a table when walked in as it's usually very busy. My friend and I ordered brunch: pancakes with maple syrup for me and Mexican eggs for himself. It was his first time in Herbstreet and he commented on the "Google & Facebook prices". The staff forgot my request for extra maple syrup which was annoying. They were quite disorganised, brought wrong orders to our table twice. We were also ignored at the till when we were trying to make change to tip. I won't go back in a hurry, okay food, not so great service and pricey brunch.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got my chance when I met a friend for lunch last week. I must say, I had a bit higher expectations based on other reviews (and let's be honest, the higher prices) but it was still pretty decent. I ordered the turkey burger with sweet potato chips. The burger was okay but lacked any kind of wow factor that would make you come running back. They also tried making their own ketchup which was a nice idea I guess, but why bother? Pretty sure Heinz has it down. The service was very efficient and I had a nice experience but for a €15 lunch I'd prefer a little more flavour.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
I come here often for brunch as it has a fantastic menu. I always opt for the short stack of pancakes (once had the tall stack in 2016 and thought I might die I was so full). They used to have a sautéed bananas topping for the French toast that you could have on the pancakes but they've replaced that with a whiskey apple topping, which is a shame. The coffee is good and they don't rush you out the door on a busy Sunday.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
We did not get the name of the guy who explained to us that currently they are full but kindly allowed us to leave our phone number. He did call us again when our table was available and kindly made sure that we liked the spot. It was a nice gesture. However, other waitresses are not particularly attentive. They seem to be cold but it did not bother me that much. Food is okay. It's nothing to rave about but it's just a typical brunch place. We ordered full irish brunch menu and the portion was quite large for us. The corn beef potato hash thingy is really good! What I like about this place is it's clean and it has variety of options for brunch. But I think the price can go down a bit. For me food was just okay.

Yelp
In all honesty, despite having been here several times and the fact that my best friends love the place, it's never really thrilled me. Don't get me wrong - it's not bad by any means - just pretty average. The waffles I got this last time were tasty but nothing mindblowing, portion size wasn't quite enough to fill me up, and although the cappuccino was very tasty and pretty artfully done, it again wasn't anything you couldn't find elsewhere. Both my friends ordered the "breakfast of champions," both of them finished it pretty quickly as it was also a pretty small portion, and we kind of wondered what kind of "champion" eats about 100 calories for breakfast and is then raring to face their day. Not this champion, I'll tell you that! Oddly enough even though we got there right as it opened at 8:30, and service initially was quick and attentive, we never got a refill on our water jug and after clearing the plates we were completely ignored - no mention of a bill or anything - so ended up sitting around after failing to get the wait staff's attention for 15 minutes, then finally going up to the front to pay. I've also been while it's been busy and the service was a bit of a letdown then too. The one thing which for me will redeem a lot of these qualities is if it's a great deal - but my tiny waffle and cappuccino cost me about 13 euros and left me unsatisfied, whereas there's lots of places I've been to which would leave you in a definite food coma for that much. So not too much "bang for your buck" there. I'll likely be back as my friends are fans for some reason but if I'm picking a place it won't make my top 5 or maybe even my top 10.

Yelp
Fantastic restaurant with magnificent food and very nice view! Definitely try any daily offerings as they're not any "less" than the regular menu items. My favorite so far is the beef short rib, which falls of the bone (to its bed of fluffy and buttery potato mash). Love this place!!
google avatar

Emmeline B.

Yelp
Herbstreet is probably my favorite place for brunch in Dublin just because they make the best eggs benedict in town (and I made it my mission to try them all..). My friends also had their pancakes and french toast and said they were very tasty and were not able to finish it. If you go on Saturdays or Sundays, expect to wait at least 30min if you come at peak time but the waiter will get your name and phone number to call you when your table is ready (so you can go for a walk on Grand Canal Dock while you wait) The inside is nice, woody and cozy and if you're lucky enough with the weather, you can also eat outside! The service is great, not too pushy considering people are always waiting for a table. To conclude, I would definitely recommend herbstreet and it is my go-to place when I have friends visiting.

Yelp
I finally got to experience the ever popular brunch at the one of Dublin's supposedly best brunch spots! As it was one of those sunny Saturday afternoons, there were queues since 11am right up until half 2! We came at 1:30 and got a table immediately partly by pure luck and the fact that we took the small table right beside the door, so it was drafty. But the queue had a 30 min wait otherwise. It was packed until about 3pm when we left. The brunch was fantastic! I ordered a baked egg dish which was made in a spicy tomato sauce with beans and spinach, and it tasted heavenly! By far the best brunch I've had in Dublin so far. My mom had the turkey burger which was pretty massive and came with sweet potato chips which were delicious. I found that the overall quality and standard of the food in general was very high. On the brunch menu almost everything is egg based dishes, although they do have the veggie and turkey burgers if you prefer something more lunch than brunch. There's also some interesting sides like quinoa salad and chicken wings. For a place that was packed to the brim, the service was remarkably fast and the food came out quicker than expected. The staff were pretty nice too, not much to comment on that really. The only negatives are that it's not possible to make brunch reservations on weekends due to possibly high demand, and the chairs are quite uncomfortable. But for just brunch and the lively atmosphere, I would have given 5 stars.
google avatar

Ricky U.

Yelp
Place is a 10/10!!! Relaxed retro atmosphere with greats tunes playing and a nice view of the water. Indoor and outdoor seating too. Everything on the menu looked so good so we dove into a view items. Eggs benny for me, Herbstreet Breakfast for my cousin, and to share we had smoked Salmon with creme fresh and capers as well as a short stack of banana and Nutella butter pancakes. WOW! A must for brunch. Enjoy my photos

Yelp
Meh for brunch service. I tried to like this place, but a lot of things don't add up. I feel it's just the hip place to go during the weekend if you're based around the Docks, and it really doesn't convince me to return very often. Let me start with the positives. I love the dog bowl with water at the entrance, it's just a nice gesture and the little doggies will need it because their owner will probably spend a reasonable amount of time in here. The brunch menu is extensive, both in food choice as for drinks, so you're main problem will be deciding what you like better. I really like the brunch platter, perfect morning food! If the weather is nice, the seating outside, overlooking the canal, is exactly where you want to seat for a relaxing meal. If you have little ones with you, they'll bring crayons and paper to the table to help keep them entertained :) Now the not so good stuff... While most of the food is tasty enough - I've only ever had one dish I thought was muck, but it's since gone off the menu, so they probably realised it too - it's still too expensive for what it is. It's good food, but I would hesitate to say delicious. The fruit juices are served in a ridiculously small glass for instance, and they'll charge you €3 for that, it's gobsmacking. You can't make a reservation and there's usually a big queue, even if you show up at 10am, when it's opening. Ain't nobody got time for that! Trust me, all in all, it's not worth such a long wait. The attitude of some of the staff is pretty poor, a lot of the time they won't even acknowledge you. Ok, maybe they can't be with you right at that moment, but a little nod or smile never hurt anyone. And my pet peeve... the kiwi in the fruit salad is not peeled... I mean... It's a fuzzy, hairy fruit. Hairs, tiny hairs, spread over the pineapple and berries... Why, God, what have I done to deserve this punishment? I value texture over aesthetics in my food, but maybe I'm weird that way.
google avatar

Bethany L.

Yelp
Really good breakfast! Many healthy, fresh options, including gluten free or paleo friendly choices. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was awesome! My husband had the breakfast of champions, it had a cassava hash brown that was fantastic. The americanos were good and strong as well.
google avatar

Gouthaman K.

Yelp
After having lived in Dublin for around a year and listening to countless number of people telling me how getting a seat here over the weekends is a real struggle, I finally mustered up the courage and showed up at the restaurant with a friend. We had to wait for about 10 - 15 minutes and were given a table outside the restaurant which I really appreciate given that it was on one of those rare days with sunshine on the emerald isle. I ordered an Americano and a Veggie Burger and my friend got herself a Cappuccino and Belgian Waffles. The food was great (especially them Waffles!) and I have no complaints. The coffee was Lavazza and was so much better than I had anticipated. The service was above average -- especially given how busy this restaurant gets. The only aspect about Herbstreet that I don't like is that it gets pretty busy and it's not the kind of place where you can while away hours of time after your brunch on a weekend, but the food is good enough to not deter me from visiting again.
google avatar

Jennie C.

Yelp
AMAZING brunch. We made it here right before the Sunday rush; I'd been trying to call in all morning to make a reservation but I realized after I arrived why no one was picking up the phone (super busy). Expect a wait if you come anytime after 11am. We each ordered the Herbstreet Full Irish and the waiter was kind enough to let me switch black pudding for baked beans. The toast is SO good and you get a nice thick slice. The sausage was huge and cooked perfectly (although mine was cut up all over...I think it was the one used to test that the sausages were cooked thoroughly). The most unique and amazing thing they had was the corned beef hash - corned beef chunks mixed into hash browns with a hint of spicy peppers. So much goodness! This full irish was delicious and well worth the money. Also got an orange juice - fresh with pulp! I can't wait to come back and try their rum banana french toast and pancakes! YUM.

Yelp
This is one of the popular Grand Canal Dock cafés. Arrive at lunch-time, and the place will be packed with a mix of suits working in nearby offices and groups of middle-aged women in deep conversation. As has been pointed out in previous reviews, this is a really nice place, especially when the weather is good, as the outside tables are a perfict spot to linger for an afternoon in this lively area. Inside has a more plush décor and can be a bit noisy, so I'd always prefer a table outside, even though the sun isn't shining. You won't find any surprises on the menu, but I like their quiche and calamari. It's a little pricey for casual lunch, but a good place to meet a few friends for lunch once in a while, if only for the change of scenery.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
Probably one of the best brunch spots in Dublin! In addition to having vegan/vegetarian options, they have some really cool, more unique dishes like vegan jackfruit tacos in addition to classics like the Irish breakfast or strawberry pancakes. When the weather is nice, the patio is lovely.
google avatar

Ellen S.

Yelp
I'm still in food coma while I write this. An amazing lunch! This must have been one of the best bouillabaisses I ever tried. It was so full of fish, that I struggled to finish. It was overflowing with mussels, loads of calamari and at least 6 or 7 big prawns. And some grilled fish on top of it al. They sure don't skimp on the fish here. It also had some yummie garlic toast on the side. HEAVEN! We shared three desserts between us all. (See picture, they did taste as good as they look!) I sure could do with an after food nap now!

Yelp
Had a very tasty brunch here. The sweet potato wedges were the best I've ever had and I also loved the avocado salsa that came with them. Pancakes were okay. I thought it was a bit mean on their part to charge extra for maple syrup. The banana French toast with pecans was delicious but oh so rich and indulgent. I loved it but it might be too sweet for the average Joe soap. I do think €12 is very expensive for this. Coffee wise, I'm not a fan of lavazza. This could be my own personal preference. Staff were very friendly.

Yelp
This lovely neighborhood restaurant is around the corner from the flat I'm renting in Hanover Quay. The location is stunning, mere steps from the Grand Canal. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and the menu offers a variety of breakfast and brunch options, with locally sourced food and a modern/natural take on Irish classics. I had the Eggs Benedict with salmon and my companion had the Irish Breakfast with sausage, blood pudding, eggs, and toast;we both had flavored Pimms cocktails to wash everything down. Not the cheapest breakfast you'll find, but competent, tasty food in a great location.

Yelp
Came from miami and I this was the first place we visited. We ordered the falafel burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! Full of flavor and clean. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Cute place and lovely service.

Yelp
I went to eat lunch at Herbstreet on a blustery, 'winter-is-coming' Wednesday to celebrate a friends birthday. Despite working just around the corner for the past year, this would be my first visit. I'd heard good things about their weekend brunch offering but their weekly lunch menu was a bit of a mystery. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was busy with the office crowd as expected. We had booked the day before for our party of 4, and I'd recommend booking if visiting at peak mid-week lunch/weekend-brunch times. We were greeted with smiles and led to a table at the back immediately upon arriving. The decor has mismatch, trendy diner feels, with good natural lighting coming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. We were provided with a large glass bottle of water upon sitting down and this was topped up, without request, throughout our stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful, advising on the daily specials. It's still only midweek and so I can't quite justify a weekend diet splurge just yet so I decide to go for the healthy choice of a superfoods salad with poached chicken. Good call. This is delicious! Even my not-so-fav goji berries add a lovely sweet bite to the chicken and avocado combo. There's a good chunk of chicken served with the salad..which is great. Nothing worse than ordering a chicken salad and then given a bowl of leaves & you have to go searching for your sprinkling of chicken. My friends opted for the grilled halloumi couscous salad and pasta with scallops (both dishes €15 each) . Both looked delicious and I had a bite of the halloumi and can vouch for it's cheesey deliciousness. Final thoughts...this a great spot; while on the pricier side, I was impressed enough with what I ate/saw so I will be frequenting this more often for special occasion lunches. Top of the list will be weekend brunch. I look forward to it.

Yelp
Upon arrival, on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, we were asked if we wanted to sit outside straight away, or have brunch inside. As the wind was blowing a bit hard, we decided to go for the second option. We got served water straight away and then ordered coffee. They have a short but effective brunch menu, with everything you might want for, no more, no less: pancakes, full breakfasts, eggs Benedict and Florentine, waffles, and the likes. I went for an absolutely amazing toast with mushroom, which came with a little pesto dressing and a side of rocket and cherry tomatoes. It was really tasty! My friend had an egg Benedict, which I personally don't like, but he said it was very good as well. We also shared a "side" of pancakes with bacon, which was very decent. I guess it's me not liking the mix that much, but they were lovely eaten separately! Service was ok, quite friendly but nothing exciting, probably as they were very busy. We were too full form the delicious main to order any desserts, so did not even look at the list, but I am sure they would have been good as well. I think I would go there very often if, like my friend, I worked just two minutes from there. In conclusion, a definite 'yes' if you are looking for brunch in the docks area.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here for brunch on Saturday afternoon. There was a 30 min wait time. Luckily it is located next to the canal which is nice to sit by and watch the swans. As drinks we got orange juice which we were told was freshly squeezed but unfortunately, it was not. We ordered the pancakes (maple syrup is an extra 3 euro) which is a bit pricey for a main ingredient to eat pancakes with. We also ordered the poached egg, salmon avocado plate. Both plates were nicely made and good.

Yelp
First time in here for brunch st the weekend, and it's great to see another top-notch brunch menu in Dublin! We were here on a Sunday at noon, and there was a queue! Also a great thing to see. I think they open from 10am and brunch runs through to 4pm. Place was stuffed both inside and outside (they give you warm blankets for outside, in case that's a worry for you!). It's a proper brunch menu, so the Big Fry is included, but also pancakes, granola, French Toast, plus Eggs Benedict and Florentine. Something for everyone methinks, plus sides (like fries). You can also order sides like Bacon with the various dishes. Between us we had the Fry, Eggs Florentine, French Toast, a side of fries, and some pancakes. All were very very good. Staff were great - very helpful, and the place was buzzing. Would definitely go again. Any niggles? Coffees were ok, and often tended to the cold side (for the milky coffees like lattes). Americanos arrived in good shape. All in all - great place, I can see what it's feeding most of Facebook and Google (presumably) at the weekend :-) Will be going again.

Yelp
Pros: - Great location, right by the grand canal docks. - The pancakes are divine; I customized mine with sausage, Canadian maple syrup, and a bowl of fruit. - Ideal brunch spot after a night out. - Their cappuccino is pretty solid as well. - Owner and servers are all really friendly Cons: - Hard to get a good spot on the weekend - Pricey but the quality is good

Yelp
Dreaming about this place! Food was AMAZINGLY good. I don't think there's something I didn't like about the place, the food or the service. Although if you are going for brunch make sure to be there early and ready to wait because they get lengthy lines. My favorite brunch in Dublin so far.

Yelp
I went here for brunch on a Sunday at 12pm. We were a group of twelve people - a meet-up group so the organiser didn't know everybody, but still we expected everybody to come. The organiser had called in advance but was told that a reservation wouldn't be possible, which meant a bit of stress for the group as more and more people showed up and be had to wait outside. So we couldn't judge how the situation would be inside and what the chances would be for us to get a table. In fairness the owner (?) did check regularly how many we were and when we were about 8 people the table was suddenly ready for us. But this took a bit away from the experience. Yes, they are pretty busy for brunch and there were queues outside several time. So they obviously didn't want to loose out on us if we weren't the 12 people we said (we were in the end!) Anyhow. Apart from that the staff was very lovely, the food (I had Egg Benedict) was very good and a plenty and they left us sitting as long as we wanted. Ok, once me made a move the quickly reassembled the tables to let new people in. This gave a bit of an impression of almost a fast food restaurant so hence only three stars for this visit. But I'd say I'll go again and hopefully at some stage as well to try their dinner.

Yelp
This place is the boooooomb. Had a very hungover brunch here on a miserable rainy Sunday and it hit the nail on the head. I got the Mexican egg thing. It was soooo delicious. I also tasted the French toast which was melt in the mouth good and bad a taste of the pancakes. The menu is varied with a really good choice. Really good atmosphere and service was on point considering it was an extremely busy Sunday afternoon. Definitely be back. Only disappointment was the chicken wings are average at best. Still tasty but that's why it didn't get the 5stars from me. Everything else though, amazing!
