The hotel currently has no working air conditioning and they give no notice of this before you arrive or at check in. I was only notified when I complained my room wouldn't cool down and was then told it's been broken for a week. The manager is extremely lacking in customer service skills and offered no assistance in booking another hotel and simply stated no one else complained. My room temperature registered at 24.8! Unacceptable.

Was there for a rowing camp.row-eat-sleep-repeat. Ending the day in the pool. Absolutely perfect for this, the nearby lake is perfect and also very scenic. The hotel provided the nelo boats and oars. The quiet rooms are ample and comfortable, the small outdoor deck is very private, the bathrooms have tubs and pressure showers, imperative for athletes. The hotel is cleverly constructed so groups get privacy from each other. The gym in the hill is also fabulous.erging on a patio overlooking km and km of Oak trees was inspiring! Absolutely perfect for rowers of any level! The non rowers seemed to be very happy too.

Fantastic getaway on the backwaters of a dam! there´s rowing gym, and padel courts too. The restaurant serves a delightful fare!

This is a very nice and exclusive hotel. The rooms are modern and very nice. The hotel facilities are also great, amazing pool and outside spaces, and a great bar and restaurant. Then there is the service, which is absolutely fantastic. For example, you can get your breakfast all day, anytime. And everything is fresh and delicious!

Our staying at Herdade da Cortesia was above our best expectations. It's a fantastic small hotel, modern and cozy, perfectly integrated in the surroundings. Rooms are spacious and confortable, there's plenty of social areas to rest, the restaurant is very good (a bit expensive) and the swimming pool is fantastic. Definitively a place to come back to.

This place is just amazing!!! If you want to rest for a couple days this is the place! Very peaceful, very silent, you can just disconnect from the world and enjoy the infinity pool, the gym or even the lake of the Maranhão Dam! All staff is very kind! You can enjoy one of the best breakfasts at almost any time you want and lunch/diner one of the divine dishes they have on the menu! Enjoy =)
