Herdade da Rocha - Boutique Lodge

Great place! Small art boutique hotel! If you are looking for a relaxing time away from the noise of the big city, this is perfect! Special thanks to the manager who gave us a vineyard tour and wine tasting. The food was delicious and the staff was more than friendly! Thank you!

The grounds of Herdade da Rocha are achingly beautiful. Vines. Cork trees. Oaks. Boulders. Deer. Just wonderful. Simple, clean and bright rooms. The pavilions look lovely, circling a nice pool with Palm Springs vibes. We had a wonderful meal and breakfast. And the wine is what you expect from Alentejo. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel the views are amazing. The vineyard the pool a lovely place to chill and relax very clean and spacious rooms and all have lovely views with highly recommend for a getaway with your partner and the hospitality is like my home they said of you with a smile highly recommend.

First impression good but really a bad experience!!! The whole facility looks really stylish and luxurious, no doubt about this but: The manager is not a good host rather hostile and unpolite. Unfortunately this also reflects on the staff which is really slow and unmotivated, not greeting. The breakfast is a joke and staying more than one night really hurts… I travel a lot and I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses of different kinds and categories… this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had so far!!! The bad and scarce service don’t fit to the luxury hotel/lodge impressions given… we went out for dinner at a hotel and restaurant nearby, called Pousada… this was truly excellent concerning food and service! A much better place to be;-)

Sandra and her team are the best! Beautiful spot, great wines, and impecable service. They organized a barbecue at the hotel for us and were attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful region and hotel.

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional wine experience. The wines produced here are outstanding, and the tastings were an absolute delight! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making the whole experience even more memorable. Pairing the wines with delicious local cuisine elevated everything to another level. If we could give 6 stars, we would! Our stay at Herdade da Rocha was simply amazing. The peacefulness of the vast domain, filled with wildlife, made it a perfect escape. It was so quiet, we only heard the sounds of nature. The highlight was the picnic in the middle of the vineyards, and the wine tasting was a wonderful experience. The service was perfect, and every moment felt special. Highly recommend for anyone seeking tranquility and exceptional hospitality.

I had an incredible stay at Herdade Da Rocha. It felt like home with an extra touch of luxury. The staff was amazing, and the vineyard setting was beautiful. We enjoyed their wine while spotting deer and does wandering around, which made it even more special. A perfect peaceful escape from the city!
