Never experienced anything like it. Was absolutely breathtaking! From the pink suite that we stayed in to the food and views it was truly an unforgettable experience. And the staff is AMAZING!!!!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!!!

Not worth the money. The rooms were sub average and certainly not up to the Luxury Boutique hotel name. We ended up in a mezzanine room with barely any light, with the bed tucked away upstairs which was rather inappropriate given my wife was 8 months pregnant (not something you can easily miss). She had to go downstairs every time she needed to use the bathroom

Very quiet and beautiful property. Service and food is good. But its far from everything so stock up on your essentials before going.

Herdade do Sobroso is a true gem in the Alentejo region. Surrounded by vineyards, it offers the perfect blend of tranquility, natural beauty, and authentic charm.||The rooms are elegant and cozy, boasting stunning views of the countryside. The on-site restaurant serves delicious, locally inspired dishes, perfectly paired with Herdade do Sobroso’s exceptional wines.||The staff are warm and attentive, and the activities offered truly completed the magic of our stay.||I was searching for a special place to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and this was absolutely the right choice. Highly recommended!||Congratulations to the owners for creating such an authentic paradise.

We took our friends after a very nice stay in 2021. Staff is very friendly and professional. The view is breathtaking and not disturbed by wind turbines or anything else. Breakfast was very good. Rooms nice and comfortable. One (big) disappointment: while dinner was a gastronomic surprise in 2021, it was bad (for its price) now. Most simple Portuguese restaurants offer better food for half the price. E.g. while we love porco preto, it was served badly cooked the second evening so we did not even finished it. Entradas were nothing special either. A lot of guests must have known this as hardly anyone ate in the restaurant.

We had an Absolutely beautiful stay! Loved every part of it: hotel, people, food. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Very special, cozy, serene and just simply great. Separate thanks to the staff, they were wonderful. We really enjoyed the red wine and the rosè! Thanks to the entire team! Made us feel super special there. The rooms are also amazing!

Want to share my wine tasting experience. Unfortunately, I am a little bit disappointed as from the vineyard as Sobroso you expect something distinguished but we got quite a poor experience. First of all, we booked PREMIUM wine tour, 50EUR per person . What did we get? 1 GROUP tasting. Guys, not a private tasting for 50EUR, but tasting in a group of 12 people. Half Portuguese, half English. So first the guide tells in Portuguese and then trying to translate the same in English. Plus, we were 40 minutes late as we need to wait for other participants. Emphasizing, PREMIUM tasting. 2. Tour around the winery? No. 30 minutes of staying in front of the vineyard and listening to our guide. Yes, interesting to know the story. But for 50EUR you expect to have a tour around vineyard, to see production and the story of HOW and WHERE they produce. 3. 4 different wines to taste and good guide, Pedro. Thank you, Pedro, you definitely know what you are talking about. Yes, wine is good. Thank you. 4. Food. Guys, you will receive a plate with a few pieces of cheese, few pieces of sausage, few nuts, few pieces of bread and figs. The plate which you see on the picture is for two people. Very poor starter for the place as Sobroso for 50EUR. We drive quite far, but we have received quite poor PREMIUM experience. Wine is good and premium, true. But the rest doesn't worth it. I would not recommend to participate in this wine tasting option. Cheers.

We visited the vineyard over Easter and what an experience. We arrived ahead of schedule and we were welcomed by Julio (who is absolutely fantastic and clearly passionate about his job). We were accommodated fantastically and made to feel at home. At short notice we had a delightful lunch with perfect wine pairings suggested by Julio on the terrace shortly followed by a superb wine tasting experience. After this we enjoyed the pool before having a fantastic traditional dinner featuring traditional food from the region. The next day we got up early to enjoy the safari. This was an incredible experience in which we saw deer goats and various birds. We returned for breakfast followed by a visit to the vineyard shop. All in all an incredible experience at a vineyard that produces top quality wine it really was fantastic. Highly recommend! Thanks again.
