Here Be Dragons

Very nice staff, free beer when you book a night. Cheap drinks and cool cocktails. The rooms were nice with good air conditioning a box where you can put a lock with your valuables. The showers were better than most other places. The bar is great and the have hammocks and many little chill spots where you can sit down and meet new people. Also they have a game room and a pool table so that's definitely a plus.

Superb bar, charming staff, met a great regular, utterly charming too! The bar itself is very well stocked with a wide range of European spirits and the draft beer is cold, with clearly regularly cleaned lines. Music requests are welcomed too, so I'm sat listening to some lovely psychedelia as I write this 😁 I'm a tourist passing through - this is clearly a great local watering hole and I plan to return regularly 🍻

Awesome hostel. I stayed in a fanned dorm here and really enjoyed my time. The room itself was fine with a decent bed and good locker boxes. Downsides were outside toilets and showers, as well as a lack of outlets for charging. That being said: Most everything else about this hostel is outstanding. There are comfy lounge chairs and hammocks set up everywhere in the garden and the bar area and there are games/movies/events at night, which make things really social. The food is really good too, although a little expensive. We also rented a TukTuk through the hostel and has the most amazing day with our driver DJ. Thanks for an awesome time! I would definitely come back here.

We visited for breakfast and if there was a room available would definitely considered staying. A great friendly welcome from Jen and the best English breakfast we had in 6 weeks in Asia and the first ping pong game! sorry not to get a taste of bar life. This place looked like lots if fun

The rooms were pretty bare bones. Not a super comfortable vibe. And there was no insulation I could hear everything in the hallways which led to not much rest. The majority of the staff aren't very friendly or helpful, especially the man behind the bar. The woman who seems to be the owner was the only one that was friendly. I definitely felt like I didn't get the same treatment as some of the other guests. Whenever I asked questions I got short, not very helpful responses.

I've only been here to hang out at the bar, haven't actually stayed here but have had fun both times! Bar staff was quick and friendly and went out of their way to give me my favorite drink (a pickleback aka whisky chased with pickle juice). The bartender at the time was French and spoke some English but totally open to the pickleback goodness and he made it happen!!

Great place, amazing people (owners, staff and guests) and atmosphere, fantastic place to stay or even to just chill out at their bar/restaurant and beautiful garden! Loads going on from yoga to pub quizzes to organic markets. Owners really helpful and can give loads of local knowledge and advice. Perfectly situated in Battambang town, met several people who come back here year after year. Private room is gorgeous! Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay in Battambang! The atmosphere is excellent and it is in a great location. The staff are also English speakers so recommendations and general communication are much easier. The private room wasn't anything special with a rather old bathroom and no AC, thus the one star off. In general, a great deal though!
