Heritage Awali Golf and Spa Resort

We were on vacation with our children and we were very satisfied with the hotel. The resort is really nice, spacious and well thought out. There are a few things that could be improved. The rooms are a bit musty and could use some renovation. You have to wear shoes in the water because there are corals on the bottom and the water has a strong current. This is of course not the hotel's fault, but it is quite an unpleasant surprise for the client. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back here.

A beautiful resort hotel with every amenity to suit all tastes. All the staff were very friendly and efficient - they couldn't do enough for guests. Always with a smile on their face. Food was excellent and varied. There was a good combination of buffet-style and a la carte restaurants. Their special functions were magic. Thoroughly recommended.

I recently celebrated a special birthday with my family at this hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, especially Estelle from reception, who was warm and attentive to every detail. From the spa team, who kindly treated me to a complimentary facial, to the assistant manager Jean Paul, who ensured a leisurely checkout and offered us an extra discount on our spa massages, every member of the team showed exceptional hospitality and care. The culinary delights at the hotel's restaurants were also impressive, offering a diverse range of dishes to cater to all tastes, plus creative and delicious cocktails and mocktails for the kids to enjoy. The exceptional service, combined with the hotel's comfortable amenities, made for a truly memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm and welcoming getaway with family.

We had the most amazing time. The resort experience is great, food, drinks, but what makes it more special, is the staff. Nicolas went out of his way to make sure we are enjoying our holiday. Stephan at the Gym and sports center was so helpful, showing us around to what the resort has to offer and the amazing golf courses. We stayed at the Heritage-Awali for two weeks in December 2024, with the all-inclusive package. All in all, it was a perfect vacation that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire complex is very well maintained and clean. The layout of the pool facilities and the beach area is well organized so that childless couples don't really notice other children. The hotel was supposedly fully booked, but we never noticed this, which we found very positive. We thought the buffet food was great and always looked forward to breakfast and dinner! Lunch at “Infinity Blue” was also very good. We found the service staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. Special thanks go to Nicolas and Oliver! The pool facilities are great, the cocktails at the bars were great, the beach is beautiful! To the people who are upset about various animals: There is exactly one dog that makes an appearance from time to time, but it never attracted any negative attention or was intrusive. On the positive side of sustainability: bottles made from sugar cane instead of plastic. Negative on the subject of sustainability: Sustainability is pointed out in the room, but all towels were replaced daily even though some of them had only been used once and were not on the floor. We would have liked the sustainability that is advertised to be adhered to. We can recommend the hotel 100%! Thanks to all the service staff who made our vacation unforgettable.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are going to Mauritius. The service if first class and the facilities are excellent. Vicky the manager is extremely helpful and makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the minute you get there. His staff are always there whenever you need anything. All of the food within the hotel is great. There is a nice mix and plenty to choose from. Nicolas and his team behind the bar are also fantastic and they look after you from the moment you arrive to when you leave. I would highly recommend the hotel and I will definitely go back again in the future.
