Wow, what a gem! This place may be small, but the food is absolutely amazing. We chose to visit this restaurant after discovering it on Google Maps, which claimed to serve traditional Croatian food—a rarity in Zagreb. The dishes we tried were outstanding, bursting with flavor and authenticity. Plus, it’s only a five-minute walk from the city center, making it incredibly convenient. The owner is fantastic! He provided us with excellent food suggestions, enhancing our dining experience. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss out!

Cosy spot to eat local sandwiches. Extremely friendly staff that will guide you through the menu and explain the dishes and what you are eating, even its origin in Croatia. You will have to wait for a spot but it is certainly worth it. You can even have a beer across the street while you are waiting. Excellent choices of wine too. Try the anchovies, you won’t regret.

The food was so good. I recommend the anchovies if you like them, the cheese with olives and capers. Also had the fig leaf ice tea and was so refreshing. They have an option to order half a sandwich if you wanna try different things or usually eat a very small portion. The waitress was so nice sharing information about the food, it’s sources and history. I would recommend that they upload an updated version of their menu here. Their prices are still OK but way too far from the old menus pictured here.

This is the place to go for quality street food, definitely a must try! I recommend ordering a half sandwich so you can try at least two different options. The service is excellent, very attentive, and they’ll help you choose the best items to suit your taste. It’s a very small place, but you can always order takeaway and enjoy your meal in one of the nearby parks, especially during the spring and summer.

Quality ingredients and nice background offered on where food is sourced regionally in Croatia. Ordering process is a bit confusing due to minimal seating and how they’ve prioritized orders which can make sitting feel a bit rushed. No bathroom available but a good stop for grab and go if you’re looking for an English menu geared to tourists - flatbreads were tasty and olives were perfect.

Very small store with a couple of seats. Be careful when ordering the flatbread, because the bread is definitely not flat. I would expect more variaty of the served dishes, it was quite limited. If the concept would be more like tapas, it would be much better.

its a nice small and very authentic restaurant. The waitress was able to tell us a lot about where the food they use comes from and she was also really friendly. The food was incredible and unbelievably tasty. Me and my boyfriend loved it here and even took something after to take home because it was so yummy!

Literally the best food we had in Zagreb. This place was on our list and we had the chance to stop by on our last day. We tried s lot of different sandwiches both sweet and salty. Our favorite ones were the sandwiches with spicy sausage&ajvar and the sandwich with truffle and pork. We also tried pear rakija, it was very delicious, leaving that fresh pear taste in your mouth even after several hours ! It has a small interior so you might need to wait a bit but it will be worth it!
