Heritage Home Bed & Breakfast

I stayed here with my sister, niece, and nephew for 5 nights, and we absolutely loved it! We had a perfect set up with two spacious and well-decorated rooms, and our own private bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was always delicious, healthy, and fresh! And Juana gave us great recommendations of beaches, local restaurants, hidden gems, and nearby towns to explore. Enjoying a glass of wine on the ocean-facing patio was also a plus! We're so glad we found this B&B as it made our Cape Breton trip so enjoyable, authentic, and comfortable. Thank you Juana!

We were Delighted with our stay....mother Daughter trip to the East Coast was enhanced by our visit to Heritage Home. Juana is an excellent hostess and our room (2) was superb. In room coffee was perfect for this early riser as well as the wifi for the teenager. If we ever go back we will be staying here with Juana again for sure.

I only stayed here for one night but the owner was very accommodating and made sure I was well taken care of. The property itself is beautifully decorated and has a "grandma's house" feel to it. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and had many courses, each of which was nutritious and delicious! I plan on revisiting this place the next time I am in Nova Scotia!

Really cozy and calm ambiance. Was a really nice victorianesque experience. Recommend at 100%. The breakfast was just amazing with homemade food. The room really felt victorian as per the living room and the beds were really comfy.

One of the BEST Bed and Breakfast we have ever been to. The rooms were immaculate..beds were comfortable...the breakfast was AWESOME. The owner was more than inviting. Very reasonable price.

My husband and I had and opportunity to visit Cape Breton this past September and spent three nights at the Hertitage Home Bed & Breakfast in North Sydney. This is beautiful grand old home built in 1870 that is furnished in era antiques, and provided all of the comforts of a modern day home. We stayed in the Cottage room that was very clean, cozy and comfortably furnished and had its own separate entrance and carpark nearby. Juana, the home owner, made us feel extremely welcome, providing wonderful breakfasts and extensive information about the surrounding countryside. While there for 3 days, we drove the entire Cabot trail and visited Louisbourg and other maritime historic sites in Cape Breton. In addition, we found several great restaurants, that included the Lobster Pound and Moore and The Blackspoon, which provided fabulous dining opportunities. Overall, our stay was fabulous, and we would absolutely recommend the Heritage Home B&B to anyone planning to visit the Sydney or North Sydney area. Cheryl and Dave Taylor, Coquitlam, B.C. Amazing. Old and comfortable like grandma's house. Juana is a wonderful host with tons of energy and a quick smile. We would definitely recommend this B&B.
