Heritage Hotel

Recently stayed at Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands during my trip to Cameron Highlands. The hotel itself was quite pleasant overall. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bedsheets were fresh. I have no complaints about the room. However, the breakfast buffet was very disappointing. The variety of food was very limited, and several food stations were empty during breakfast time. I’m not sure if this was due to Ramadan, but it certainly shouldn't affect the overall quality and experience of the buffet spread. Pastries were so dry. Definitely not worth the price. Another issue was that the soup served was beef soup instead of chicken soup, and it wasn’t even labelled. This felt quite inconsiderate, especially for Indian guests or anyone else who do not consume beef. Clear labelling and more inclusive food options should definitely be taken into account. Overall, while the room and stay were comfortable, the breakfast experience should definitely be improved.

We made an ad-hoc booking through Agoda after a very disappointing experience at another hotel in Kea Farm. The poor room condition there made us decide to look for a new place immediately, and choosing Heritage Hotel, Cameron Highlands turned out to be the best decision.|The hotel may be seasoned, but it is well maintained and has a charming, classic feel. The receptionist who attended to us was polite, warm, and welcoming, which instantly made us feel comfortable. Our room was spacious, came with a balcony, and was more than comfortable for our stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.|The biggest green flag for us was the excellent customer service after check-out. I accidentally left my makeup bag in the room and emailed the hotel about it. To my surprise, the hotel contacted me via WhatsApp, took the effort to check with housekeeping, and confirmed that my belongings were safely kept. They even went the extra mile by offering to post the bag to me.|I am truly impressed and very happy with their honesty, responsiveness, and care for guests. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Cameron Highlands.

Despite reading a number of negative reviews, our experience was just the opposite. Our room was clean, spacious and the hotel seemed well run and was conviently located within a 10 minute walk from the main street and about 15 minutes from the bus terminal. A good and varied breakfast buffet. No complaints and recommended!

The hotel room is big, clean and comfort.they provide four pillow which is very comfortable.The king size bed is big enough for two person. Surrounding of the hotel is cool and peaceful. The hotel breakfast is variety choice and delicious.will book again next time when visit to Cameron.

The hotel features a truly stunning design that immediately stands out. The room is spacious, well laid out, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. One of the highlights is the beautiful view outside the room, which adds a special touch to the overall stay. A great choice for anyone who appreciates thoughtful design, generous space, and a pleasant atmosphere.

No complaints. Can be better in some areas. But sufficient enough to enjoy our vacation. You can request for baby crib but the one that we got was with broken lock. They offer to call to change but we just went creative with it. Breakfast offered some varieties the tastes were acceptable but not great. Love the view in the restaurant. Not so much enjoying the view of room as we booked for Mountain View but it's below expectations. Ordered drinking water since breakfast until checkout. So there were +- points to consider.

Hotel location is strategic just before Tanah Rata town so if you come from Tapah, traffic was not too terrible. It is also walking distance to Tanah Rata where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. Maybe just our luck or the hotel purposely give the worst room to anybody who booked through online platform like Booking or Agoda. The bathroom door in our room could not be closed properly and the bathroom door in our children’s room locked itself for some reason 👻? Thankfully the staff was prompt to come unlock the door. Breakfast was good, you get a large variety of food and most of them were tasty. Remember to prepare 100 ringgit deposit before you check in.

We chose this property expecting a comfortable stay consistent with its positioning as a heritage hotel. While the room and location were acceptable, the breakfast experience was significantly below expectations and warrants immediate attention from management.||At the breakfast buffet, we encountered multiple instances of unclean and visibly soiled plates and coffee cups being placed for guest use. This is not a minor issue but a serious hygiene concern, particularly for families and children. Guests should not have to inspect crockery for cleanliness at a hotel of this category.||In addition to hygiene issues, the breakfast buffet offered very limited variety, and the overall food quality was poor. Several items lacked flavour, freshness, and basic presentation. The experience felt more like a cost-cutting exercise than a thoughtfully prepared hotel breakfast.||For a hotel that charges premium rates and promotes a heritage experience, this level of breakfast quality and cleanliness is not acceptable. Proper cleaning standards, staff supervision at the buffet area, and a reassessment of the breakfast menu are clearly required.||I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements corrective actions, as these issues directly affect guest confidence, satisfaction, and the hotel’s reputation.
