No complaints. Can be better in some areas. But sufficient enough to enjoy our vacation. You can request for baby crib but the one that we got was with broken lock. They offer to call to change but we just went creative with it. Breakfast offered some varieties the tastes were acceptable but not great. Love the view in the restaurant. Not so much enjoying the view of room as we booked for Mountain View but it's below expectations. Ordered drinking water since breakfast until checkout. So there were +- points to consider.

It's an old hotel but it is kept running very well. There's a bathtub that is long and the hot water is HOT!! The only lacking is that there are no bath soap, only shower gel. The room was nice and big. There is a gym, a library, snooker table, laundry room. Good facilities all around. Location wise nearer to Tanah Rata and Tapah rather than Brinchang. There's a nice place to eat just near the hotel. Staff's service was superb. Their breakfast buffet is good. Different for different days. A lot of varieties too from local to "western". Even have an egg station. Food serve there was really good.

Had a great 4days 3night stay here. We booked 2 rooms. 432/434 with a stunning morning view. Breakfast buffet is good. So many variety of food choices. Will stay here again in nearest future to come. Excellent

Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe king room. Front desk service was good and check-in seamless. Will need a MYR 100 cash deposit. Well located up on a hill away from the main road so it’s quiet with really amazing views. Ample free covered and open air parking available, those who do not drive will need to walk 10mins down to town though. Really nice environment surrounded by tall pine trees, good facilities - garden, library, children’s play room, laundry room, billiard table and lounge. Room was huge but dated and felt dull ( even the supposedly newer deluxe rooms), mattress was on the hard side and pillows were old and lumpy. Ok value for the price but we ended up moving to another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Cameron. Will probably not stay here again unless on a tight budget.

Old stately Hotel atop a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the city. It has certainly been a magnificent hotel in its day. That day unfortunately was several decades ago. I'm quite sure the carpets are originals and have never been subjected to deep cleaning or any for that matter. It's FILTHY. Everywhere with a carpet is dirty to the point of disgusting. There are stains of any conceivable origin and color on the beige rugs, bed blankets and the furniture and even up the walls. There was small ants on the bed and furniture. I've stayed at some dodgy hotels but this one takes the prize. The receptionist offered me two different rooms, but to no avail. They were just as dirty. Breakfast buffet without hand sanitizer. Mainly Asian dishes but freshly made omelets and toast was OK. Coffee is instant variety and juices are from a carton despite the abundant amount of fresh fruit just outside the door. Again the furniture in the restaurant had stains and even bird droppings on it. The polite staff seems to have given up on maintaining the enormous hotel. Small issues: dysfunctional running machines in the gym, view towers closed off, no water pressure in shower due to limescale. The place needs major refurbishment to be restored to its former glory. As it is now, all it has going for it is the views.

The surroundings are very peaceful and serene and perfect if you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city. Rooms were clean, staff were polite, and the stay overall was comfortable. However, because of the age and ambience, it can feel a little creepy, especially at night. Personally, I even felt like I got kena kacau a bit during my stay. It wasn’t anything major, but it did add to the eerie vibe of the place. If you enjoy calm, quiet environments and don’t mind a slightly spooky atmosphere, this hotel is still worth considering.

Rating 3/5 overall. The good: Location is convenient and quiet with easy access to town by walking. Room was clean, with iron and water kettle provided, bathroom was clean with necessary toiletries provided. Breakfast buffet was nice, had mix of Malaysia and western cuisine, which were refilled when empty. Their pancakes were delicious. The bad: The carpet in the room had stains, the hotel should really clean their carpets more often. There were also few ants. The TV in the room was pretty much ancient, and has no USB ports so if you want to connect and watch anything you're out of luck. They only had 11 channels in the TV. However if you do have DVDs with you then you're in luck because they do have a DVD player 😅 The game room is not free. For snooker it's rm24 and hour which is absurd. These facilities should be free for guests. They also have massage chairs, which are also not free. The garden also seems to be less maintained.

Good Location but Rooms Need RenovationThe hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location. However, the rooms are quite old and could use some renovation. The reception staff provided good service, especially the female intern who was very helpful and friendly. The price is reasonable. The breakfast quality is acceptable, though the variety is limited, but still suitable for both Thai and international guests.
