Hotel was chosen on family recommendation.||Lovely clean hotel situated opposite the 'Cobblers' Bridge'. Very well located for all the old town has to offer. The welcome drink was a nice touch on check-in. ||The staff are very professional and friendly. Our room on the third floor faced towards the old town. Good elevator for those who need it. Well sound insulated, clean and well-presented. Good TV. Comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with a good shower. Good wardrobe space, safe, mini-bar/fridge, and complimentary coffee/tea/water.||Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.||The old town can be quite noisy into the night with people en route from the bars and cafes. Not the hotel's fault! The excellent double glazing cuts out the noise.||Only gripe. The room was very warm. The aircon did not seem to have been enabled. Probably the time of year.||Don't hesitate to book your stay here. I highly recommend it.

Stayed for a Saturday night to visit a friend. Rooms were comfortable and more than adequate. Location was good. Really friendly staff. The negatives was a lack of parking but I got very lucky and managed to grab a space but for the size of the hotel it is nowhere near enough. You may end up paying for on street. The other negative was the breakfast. The continental spread looked good but the cooked breakfast was very average. All in all pretty satisfied.

Nice hotel near sightseeing and shopping. The hotel itself is raised above the road so you need to access the main entrance from the ramp along the side of the hotel. The car park is small (enough for 8 vehicles) and is located around back. We arrived at 1:30pm for check-in and had no trouble with finding a parking spot on a busy Saturday. The hotel rooms are nice and large. The bathroom was also large. Both were also very clean and the beds were comfortable. The area around the hotel is very walkable and safe. We walked to the Botanic Gardens, up through the university, and back through the riverfront parks. We also walked to and from dinner at the nearby Zizzi. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They pointed out a couple things to do and see nearby. I only wish we had more time to stay and visit but we only had one night in Glasgow. Great spot in a good location!

Great location, easy to get to. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. Room was spacious had a nice view on to the street, and pretty quiet considering the location, slept well! Good breakfast in the morning. Only let down was the water temperature in the morning but it wouldn't put us off staying again. Superb value for money!!

Spent one night here with my work. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were pleasant and overall I enjoyed my stay. My only complaint: finding the hotel was a bit of a nightmare!! It's situated on top of a set of shops, and the entrance was not well signposted. I spent around 45 minutes walking around in circles, in the dark, as a lone female traveller (which I didn't particularly enjoy). For anyone who has booked to stay here - Turn left off the main street up the cobbled walkway, then look for a gap in the walls on the right hand side, this is how you access the hotel!!

Friendly staff and nice rooms. The shower is quite small and it's not helped by the large shower system that takes up room unnecessarily. The doors in rooms are frustrating to close but staff were helpful when we had an issue. The breakfast was not bad and the server was friendly but the turkey rashers and sausage could be a lot better.

Very nice place. Good bed and a clean room plus really nice staff. Right in the westend so a great location. Also it's only £7 by taxi from the city center. No problems storing luggage for a few hours after checkout either. Breakfast is solid (if you like the fully fry). Continental breakfast maybe a little lacking by comparison. In all, definitely highly recommended.

There were some good things and some not so good things about our overnight stay at the Heritage. The good: the room was plenty spacious and clean with a working television so we could watch the World Cup and Wimbledon. The location in the west end is really nice and convenient with easy walking to the subway to get you to the city centre and other parts of town. The not so good: the room was quite warm/stuffy (could he unavoidable but worth mentioning), the breakfast was fairly unappealing (I was sad there was no porridge), and worst of all, the showers were freezing cold in the morning with not a drop of hot water to be had. I'd stay here again because of the good location, but only if other options were booked up.

Yelp
This bed and breakfast is conveniently situated in the West End and near the university. It is pretty basic, but clean and includes a decent hot breakfast, traditional Scottish fare and a variety of cereals, breads, and fruit. The rooms were spacious but not at all extravagant. The people working here were all extremely friendly, pretty standard in Scotland in general I've found. And I must say, I was kind of a pain in the ass here, got locked out of my room in the first five minutes and had to be let in, then later made special requests involving taxis and an itemized bill printed in a very particular way. They went above and beyond in every situation. If you're looking for an affordable guesthouse in the West End, check this place out.

Yelp
This place is really great for the price they charge. We paid 60 quid per day and the room was nice and clean and the location is so close to so many things. My only complaint would be that their breakfast hours are really short (one hour between 7:30am and 8:30am) so doesn't give you quite the right amount of time to eat.
