Heritage Hotel Porin

A small, charming hotel that offers great value for money. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Makarska, making everything easy and enjoyable. A pleasant surprise was the start of the Advent season, which I didn’t expect — it added a lovely and cozy atmosphere around the hotel. Warmly recommended!

We were beyond happy with everything. Perfect location, stunning sea view from our room (highly recommend this option), beautiful interior and top-quality service. Breakfast was a real highlight – delicious dishes with a generous mix of buffet and à la carte. We would return in a heartbeat – highly recommended!

My mistake to stay here. No service at all, the staff doesn't care about you and your needs. Nobody will care about standard things - to switch on air-conditioning to your arrival and a hottub - you to enjoy the comfort you've paid for. The hottub wasn't working, eventhough you've paid 450€ per night. Definitely the worst value for paid money from 10 hotels we stayed in Croatia 🇭🇷

Unfortunately we had a six night stay. On arrival the hotel manager randomly commented how old towns can be noisy. The next thing, that night and nearly every night that we were there, the hotel had the loudest live music at their front door, until 2am. It’s impossible to sleep. The music is blaring in the room. It is ridiculous. Also the sheets for the bed did not fit and came off every night. This was also the way the bed was presented when we arrived. For the bed not being made they gave us free parking so thanks. The waiters at breakfast are lazy and rude and if you ask for a water they’ll tell you how to get it yourself. My breakfast had hair in it 🤢 And the screen mirroring doesn’t work on the tv. When I asked they said - yeah that’s never worked. This is such a bad hotel. Good luck to anyone who stays here.

Such a beautiful hotel all around - lovely staff, wonderful breakfast and incredibly clean, stylish rooms. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Last August 16 I stayed at this Hotel and left a dress forgotten in the closet of room number six the next day when I realized, I called to ask to send it by parcel to my next destination where I was going to stay several days, they confirmed to me that they would do so, but it never arrived after several days I called again to confirm if they had sent me the package and they told me no, but that they would send it to me the next day, and again the same thing happened again it never arrived, I called again and I have no longer got an answer they are thieves and they keep things be careful if you stay in this hotel

Absolutely cute and modern accommodation for a stay in Makarska! Me and my partner stayed there for 7 nights and was pleasant every single night. We stayed in the room with the sea view and was worth the extra £90pp for the view of the sea/harbour alone! ||The room was modern and contemporary with more than adequate facilities. ||Kettle and coffee machine supplied but the pods are supplied 2 at a time and they only make an espresso, which is very tasty being Lavazza pods and a Lavazza machine! ||Bathroom facilities are stunning with rituals toiletries provided free of charge every day and are replenished without issue by hotel housekeepers. ||The room was cleaned/made up every day upon request and housekeeping staff were polite. ||All hotel staff were polite I'd like to say they said hello every time we went into the hotel and were helpful and friendly as you would want. ||At the end of the 7 days there was a £18 tourist tax fee to pay but no other charges. But there is a mini fridge of alcohol and snacks available in the room for extra charges. ||Location of the room was really good also especially if you're looking for active night life, we wasn't but you can definitely hear the activities going into the early hours of the morning so be aware if you're a lover of an early night. Didn't bother us as we were aware of this due to other reviews! ||Overall I would definitely recommend Heritage Hotel Porin!
