Heritage Interpretation Center of Almeria

Very interesting and convenient museum with a great overview of Almería from ancient to modern times. The view from the roof is amazing!

A mini museum with much potential… an introductory documentary about Almeria in Spanish (with Spanish subtitles) was the key highlight, though some exhibit areas were closed on the day of visit. Great views from the rooftop terrace!

Wonderful interpretation centre with very helpful staff. Exhibits are staged from the Muslim, Christian and contemporary periods of Almerian history. There is fantastic views from the rooftop terrace. Entry is free and it's located in the main square and well marked. Just walk alongside the squares buildings and you'll find it. Well worth taking the trouble to find. Thanks everyone at the Centre for your help. 👍

What an experience! The Heritage Interpretation Center is a must-see for anyone visiting Almeria. Make sure your visit to this wonderful city begins here; you’ll see everything else in a different way! Also, the adjoining coffee house has a great selection of typical sweets… And the rooftop has the best views of Almeria!

Another centre run by the Almerían municipality which was a pleasure to be at and we'll managed. Without giving away too much it was a brief and very visual history of the province and what has made the city what it is. A must watch is the video that is at display on the ground floor

The view from the rooftop is beautiful. It is worth stepping into. It is an interactive space with videos and information in Spanish and English. It was a pleasure to visit! FREE entry.

As usual the interactief media did not work well and are only in Spanish. But the view from the roof is great.

An excellent centre of information. It gives you most of the story of Almería. Well displayed with Spanish and English description mostly. Cleverly organised to take you to the roof terrace for a superb panoramic appreciation of Almería today.
