We tried it our first time and had been going back for multiple meals! The seafood was SO fresh! Freshly cooked and very affordable! The outdoor seating is cute and you get to sit by the beach for a great view. The only downside is you have to guard your food from the chickens.

When I visited Heritage Kitchen in West Bay, I knew I had found something special. This family-run spot served up the authentic Caymanian flavors I had been craving. From the guava juice to the coconut and curry grouper, every bite was packed with bold, delicious flavor. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair—a rare find these days. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for: casual, laid-back, and right by the sea. Sitting at a picnic table just steps from the water made the experience even more memorable. It felt like I was getting a true taste of the island, both in the food and the setting. I can see why locals rave about this place. The fish was fresh and expertly cooked, and the relaxed vibe made me feel right at home. If you're looking for authentic, no-frills Caymanian food, Heritage Kitchen is an absolute must. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely place for an authentic meal. The curry grouper was amazing and so was the fresh guava juice. I didn’t care too much for the sweet and watery nature of the slaw or the fry bread but that’s a personal preference. Loved the hot sauce on the table.

Amazing hole-in-the-wall find! Definitely come here if you’re looking for fresh fish and a home-cooked meal vibe. Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean and sunset!! It was our first time having conch fritters and they were delicious!! We also ordered cayman style and curry fish. Some of the island roosters also joined us, which was a fun experience!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I stayed in West Bay for a week and ate there many times. The staff remembered my name after the first visit. If you want a unique memory of Cayman, something that you can revisit when your working day to day life seems drab and inescapable go to Heritage Kitchen when you are on island. It will easily become your “Happy Place” memory when you need an escape.

We loved this local hot spot! Unfortunately they were sold out of grouper, but the coconut mahi was fantastic. Our table also ordered the fried spicy mahi which was a hit as well! We normally don’t love Cole slaw, but something about this Cole slaw hit different. Don’t forget a refreshing passion juice!

Great place to try local food at reasonable prices but sadly they were out of too many things on the menu (lobster, conch fritters, fruit juice).. we went on Saturday at 6pm and the wait was 30 minutes for food

King David was a gem but our waitress was very disengaged and not accommodating at all. How do run pit of guava and mango juice oh and ice for the day and it was barely 12 noon and we were the only guests dining at that time. Her customer service needs some work especially for tourists. The food made up for her contemptuous mood. I had the curry grouper but my friend's snapper was fresh and delicious...a for real catch of the day! Also had some of the best fried dumplings I've ever tasted!
