This felt like the most authentic food experience we had while on the island. It was actually recommended to us by our boat guide. Out of the 7 of us we got a variety of dishes and all really liked them. I got the pineapple-style grouper and I loved it. The bread tasted a lot like a Chinese donut without the sugar and I enjoyed the seasoned rice. My husband really liked his Cayman-style lobster. Only gave 4 stars on the service because we couldn’t find anyone to get us a to-go box for quite a while after we were done eating. Definitely recommend for a more authentic feeling lunch.

Coconut grouper was amazing. Rice and sauce were delicious. Festival nothing special, but who cares if the fish is this good. $14 for food this good is an amazing value. Update - second time even better. Delicious conch fritters, and escovitch (spicy!) is even better than coconut. Try them both. They do take credit cards.

Looking for great food on the island, well this is your place. We ate there twice! Had coconut Mahi Mahi and Cayman Lobster. Both very tasty. The Atmosphere is wonderful, if you make it there for 6pm the sunset views are gorgeous

Heritage Kitchen is a little piece of heavenly culinary delight. Off the beaten path but right on the beach. You will not forget or forgive yourself if you do not stop by and experience the full, rich, authentic flavors of the Caribbean. They have it down!! There home made juice is fabulous!! Great food! Great service!! Friendly people, too. And they have cold beer, too.

Absolutely a must try! Delicious food all around! The conch fritters were made in house and the best I’ve ever had! The portions are hearty and seasoned to perfection.

If there is a place that might capture the heart and soul of Grand Cayman, it might be Heritage Kitchen. Sitting seaside in Old West Bay, is a colorful eatery dishing up an authentic experience not to be found among the touristy hotspots, or commercialized operations elsewhere. Outdoor dining leaves you facing the saltwater goodness, picnic tables painted in blues, pinks and greens, hint of a playfulness that is the island. Heritage Kitchen is a welcomed throwback amongst the modernity. The food delivers on this experience, its fresh, thoughtfully spiced and seasoned, delivering a food culture to you, that you only thought you might have known. As a traveler, I want to taste the culture, as well as feel it, here you can do both. Flavors are simple, but has the acquired depth of time, of recipes passed down, food that feeds the soul. Heritage delivers on that promise, and then some. The menu is mostly fish, but that is apropos given island life. Fresh catch from the sea, from fisherman that labored in the sun, the simple bounty of nourishment. If you're visiting island, it is a must. If you reside in Cayman, this feels like home. Dont rush through this experience, bathe in it, this is true Cayman.

This place is amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and for around 16$ I got a mahi deep fried fish, sweet bread, Cole slaw, and a huge helping of seasoned rice. Everyone was super friendly and service was quick. They even make their own guava and mango passion juice!

I return to Heritage Kitchen every time I visit Grand Cayman. The food is amazing (my favorites are pineapple grouper, curry grouper, and conch fritters), the service is quick and you always get a smile, beer is reasonably priced, music is nice, and the ocean view is an added bonus. The prices are good too. What else can you wish for?
