This was our second visit to this wonderful lodge. We all went swimming in the waterhole, what great fun. It was raining and the water cold, but so refreshing. The rainforest is stunning, I loved the dining room in the rainforest with the rain on the roof, so relaxing and peaceful. Huge range of DVD’s, really comfortable cabins and a lovely soft bed..||The dinner was just delicious, perfectly cooked and the service prompt and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is included in the accommodation price and provided a range of options. The home made bread was a big hit with all of us. ||The owner Vicki is a lovely, friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Basic little cabin tucked right into the rain forest. Easy walk to 2 great swimming holes located on the property. Absolutely beautiful. Great restaurant on site and the continental breakfast included was one of the best we have ever had. Good location for exploring north of the Daintree River.

The pictures are not what it is at all. Once in the past yes... I am sure It is for sale atm. Needs some love and care. No doubt a once treasured lodge in a great spot. Now run down and very tired from the short walking tracks to the swimming hole, to the cabins, to eating area. Alot of work needed to bring it back to what it once was.We had issues with our dinner meal too. This not so great accomodation aside we still enjoyed exploring this remote beautiful specially historic place of true natural beauty. Worth doing the trip to Cape Trib and the walks and all the areas to explore.

Great location in the heart of the Daintree, with Coopers Creek running through the property — an ideal place to stop for a night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was tasty. The natural setting is truly stunning and makes for a peaceful retreat. However, the rooms are quite tired and dated. Some maintenance issues were noticeable, such as broken shutters that made it difficult to open or close windows. Additionally, the bed sheets were stained, which detracted from the overall experience.

Brilliant place! Tucked away in the Daintree rainforest with crystal clear Cooper Creek running behind it. Lovely cabins with comfy beds and good pillows. Happy hour with very reasonable drink prices and excellent menu with top quality meals!! Good staff and the owner Vicky is delightful. Thank you so much! We’ll be back!! 10/10

We loved staying here, very tranquil and swimming holes are bonus. Convenient location for day trips. Helpful staff and internet does work in reception area/restaurant. The acbins are little bit old but clean and it didn't bother us. Shame was about restaurant food, very bland and not cheap, I recommend eating somewhere else.

We booked and paid for four nights and stayed for three. The rooms were no doubt excellent thirty years ago but now they are rather tired and disappointing. It would neither be difficult nor expensive to provide better lighting in the rooms and this would make a huge difference. The rusted steel shelving/clothes hanging space I guess provides rustic charm but maybe says something more. The bed was not comfortable, though maybe that is a matter of taste. ||Eating in the restaurant was a disappointing experience. The menu is limited (certainly different from the 2024 menu on the web site) and the chef has firm ideas about what one should like. With that exception we found the staff pleasant and helpful, particularly the hard working house keeping staff.

We had only lunch, but the location is amazing. Have the privilege to eat in the middle of the rain forest, so quiet, so beautiful. Lunch was very good, nice steak cooked perfectly, nice fish.
