Heritage Madurai

We stayed here as a family, including a senior citizen and a baby, and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the staff made our stay truly comfortable. Their hospitality was outstanding – every time we requested something, whether it was buggy service for the senior citizen or any other assistance, they were prompt and always served us with a smile. Housekeeping and restaurant service were excellent, and what impressed us most was the care shown for our baby – they prepared fresh food for the baby whenever we asked, and even provided it free of cost. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this place for families.

We stayed at this beautiful property and it’s hard to put into words how special the experience was. The place itself has such character, with a 300 year old banyan tree right in front that feels like it’s been quietly watching over the room for centuries. Sitting there and looking out at it was one of the most peaceful parts of our stay. What stood out even more was the staff. Every single person we met was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming, the kind of natural hospitality that makes you feel at home. The food was another highlight. Every meal felt carefully prepared, and the flavors were incredible. Breakfast especially was a joy.. the spread had so many thoughtful options, but the filter coffee stole the show. Did a pottery session which was unexpectedly grounding, and watched a traditional martial art performance that left us awestruck. Those touches made the stay feel so much richer, like we were getting a glimpse into something much deeper than just a holiday. It’s rare to find a place that blends beauty, culture, and heart the way this one does. We left feeling rested, and deeply grateful. Can’t wait to visit again :)

Excellent property inside the city spreading over 17 acres. Rooms and the entire premises were super clean and their service was too good as well. Had the complimentory breakfast and it was delicious as well. Highly recommended for families ❤️

We had a very pleasant stay at Heritage Madurai. The staff were amazing, always helpful and friendly. The villa was clean and comfortable. A special thanks to the chefs who were kind enough to prepare meals for my baby whenever I requested. Truly appreciated the care and hospitality. Highly recommend this place!

Our family had the most amazing experience staying at Heritage Madurai!! From the very beginning, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed. The housekeeping team was prompt, polite, and meticulous. We truly appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra special. The hotel grounds are stunning—well maintained, peaceful, and perfect for family relaxation. The pool area was a huge hit with the kids, and we loved how child-friendly the entire hotel was. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, yet enough quiet spaces for rest and relaxation. The food was another highlight! Every meal was delicious, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, and the restaurant staff made us feel right at home with their warm service and attention to detail. Special mention to the staff at the front desk and the restaurant—they were always ready to assist with a smile and offered great recommendations for local places to visit. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so genuine. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at—thank you for the wonderful hospitality! The ambience, atmosphere, and food were absolutely amazing. An absolute oasis of greenery in midst of Madurai city. Once you enter the gates it’s pure peace and bliss with a temple style swimming pool beside the reception area to greet you. Rooms are spacious as it is a colonial clubhouse converted into a hotel. Nice amenities and a good breakfast spread. The food at the restaurant was also good and service fast. Shall visit again.
