Lovely little museum that gives a great insight into the history and culture of the Bahamas. The exhibits are well organized, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a small place, but full of interesting artifacts and stories — definitely worth a visit if you’re in Nassau.

Probably not what a lot of people think about on a trip to the Bahamas. We had a rainy day to fill and wandered this direction. The museum has a nice collection with both more modern mixed media and historical photos and depictions of the island. There are both indoor and outdoor installations.

Very nice museum to learn about the Bahamas. A main criticism is that it was boiling hot inside!!! As if the AC was put on heating it was unbearable. Also the audio guide was batchy, better if you bring your own headphones.

The museum is small in structure but jammed packed with the wonders, mysteries, treasures and history of The Bahamas. The tour takes you on a walk through time with real life artifacts and models dating back hundreds of years. I wish they would one day include a dress up photo both with the Victorian area. A great activity for locals and tourists alike.

Small, intimate venue, but packed with interesting stuff. One of our favorite sites visited during our trip. It's part of the Graycliff site, and they apparently funded the set up and maintenance. It has an eclectic collection of Bahamian memorabilia. Highly recommended.

I had a booking at 10 and there was a slight confusion as no one was there, but I head across the street to the hotel, they made some phone calls and got someone over there. There was a slight delay as they got things set up, but they ran across the street to get me a chocolate drink to do right by me for the delay and confusion.

Not having A/C inside and no description tags on artifacts means that the management of this museum totally don't care about the visitors.
Having one of the most expensive tickets in this area I think they can allow to get an A/C installed.
Also absence of the description tags means that the museum administration forcing you to pay for the audio tours. To get an extra profit on you.
I will skip this museum.

We had been to Nassau 2 times before and never saw this little place. But we are so glad we walked by this last trip. Awesome museum! We took the audio tour, takes 30-40 minutes and you walk out he whole place guided by an audio device they provide you at the entrance. It is a huge tool to understand what you are, and guide you through history. This is a must see place. From the cruise port you get there in a short walking. We recommend this museum to every Nassau visitor.
