Fabulous location with wonderful views of the lake. Choose a lake view if you can as you be in bed and enjoy the magnificent views.|Great breakfast and fabulous price compared to what breakfast costs in town. |Rooms warm, clean and restocked daily. |The scenic walk to town in 15 minutes. There is a walk up a hill approximately 150 meters on the way back that can be much for some but also a great workout. If this isn’t for you there is the Sunshine Bay No1 bus with stops outside the hotel and takes you into town and back. Buy a Bee card and the bus trip will cost you $2 each way!|Sunshine Bay walk is close to the hotel and offers a tranquil walk along the shoreline and tree lined path.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and I had a lovely experience. Comfy beds, hot water always, heated towel racks, efficient cleaning services daily, and a delicious buffet breakfast. We also used the hot tub and sauna every night and that was fabulous! Great value for the price!

Just completed a 4 night stay with the family, 2 Adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 3. ||Rooms: Good size for a family and like the configuration of the King bed and two singles which was perfect for us. The room was well heated with its own individual aircon unit and good tv channels and wifi. Beds were comfortable. The room however was pretty tired and the hotel in general feels this way. The tv didn’t work the first day and had to be fixed, a leak in the bathroom roof which had already obviously been patched was leaking again and making a pool on the bathroom floor and the hotel wasn’t in any hurry to really look at it even though we let them know the roof was now soft and the water clearly moving across it and fittings, walls and bathrooms are very old and showing significant wear. ||Amenities: Booked this hotel based on information about there being an indoor pool. This is a stretch and is a small spa pool that is under a roof but the main pool is definitely outside and slightly heated which isn’t really ideal for the middle of winter in Queenstown so that was a bit of a bummer for the kids. ||Food: Restaurant was ok, quite a limited menu and of a quite high price point standard. Could do with a more relaxed and casual restaurant with a bar/bristro menu which would probably be more fitting with the prices of the rooms and the demographics of the guest (alot of families). ||Carparking: first come first served and $15 per night which was great. Always parking available and easy to access rooms from the carpark.||Staff: generally good but communication needs a bit of work. Called to arrange a slightly late checkout of an hour which was accepted and then the next day was Practically chased out of the room by the staff wanting us out at the standard checkout time. ||Overall an ok experience but the hotel is tired and needs a lot of TLC. Would explore other options before trying again.

Had a great stay here. Stayed for seven days. Initially we had the wrong bed configuration to the room and had to get an extra bed in, and this was no issue as the front desk sorted it out straight away. |We did not dine here or have the buffet breakfast, but were told by others the breakfast was very good. |Parking is $15 a day, but can be fight to find a park, especially if you come back later at night. You might have to park outside or opposite the the hotel where there is 4 hour car park. |Our room was made up every day, which was pleasant to have after along day, though they did leave the pillows on the ground one day and a blanket. Maybe forgotten on a bsuy day? |The pool is not heated, but the spa is a welcome visit after along day of skiing. |There was a fire alarm go off as well at 2am one day, but that was a false alarm. Everyone seemed to have complied to the alarms. |Overall a great stay and the front desk staff and the guy who sorted our bed out were excellent and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great balcony view, spacious and clean room. Best of all, met a Singapore student Kelvin on internship at the hotel, very professional and helpful. Knowing that there are 2 flight of stairs to our suite, he volunteer to help us with the luggages. A very promising hospitality professional in the making.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, our room enjoyed views of the lake. It was great to have access to a small kitchen area and washing machine, with plenty of room to relax. We enjoyed all our meals at the hotel.

I stayed at the Heritage for 7 nights, and would definitely stay again. The room was great! Very spacious and very clean. Couldn’t fault the service of the staff, they were amazing. The 24/7 reception is very great. The only downside is the parking is limited. Apart from that, 10/10. Would definitely come back.

My stay at Rendezvous Heritage Queensland has been completely overshadowed by the appalling conduct of one of the managers, Valentina Wattz.||||While the facilities are good and the restaurant/bar staff (especially Sylvester and Long) are outstanding, the behaviour I experienced from Valentina was disgraceful.||||After being spoken to rudely about charging meals to my room (something I had been doing without issue), I went to Reception and provided a credit card as requested. Later that night, at 11:33pm, I was woken from bed by staff knocking on my door with an EFTPOS machine demanding immediate payment. At 12:03am, Valentina then admitted she had singled me out and charged my card “because she could,” despite me already following her instructions.||||This was an outrageous breach of professionalism, privacy, and trust. I have travelled extensively for business and have never been treated so poorly in any hotel. Staff like Valentina damage the reputation of an otherwise good team.||||I would not recommend staying here until management takes action to ensure guests are not subjected to this kind of treatment.
