Really lovely, relaxed hotel with lounge/bar area and open fire as well as earm outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Our room was very nice. All staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome - reception girl (sorry, didn't get her name) recommended and arranged a helicopter flight at a discounted price. Great start to our holiday in NZ !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing stay! Our stay at the Randezvous Heritage Hotel in Queenstown was unforgettable. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — overlooking the Remarkables and Cecil Peak, it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The location is ideal, just on the way to Fernhill. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the centre of town, so you get the best of both worlds: close enough to everything, yet peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds. We loved being able to stroll down the road to take in the views or enjoy a little hike through the nearby forest. The staff and service were superb. A huge thank you to Vaclav and Arusha, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special — their warmth and hospitality really stood out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Queenstown!

Unfortunately they lost my booking and offered to 'upgrade' to another room. This was a downgrade to a view of the power lines rather than alpine. No apology but at least I had a room. Be aware with this hotel they have rooms on 4th floor with no lift so you need to lug your luggage up the final floor. The room was quite dated and weirdly sparse. I get the impression the hotel could do with some renovations

We were lucky that at check in got upgraded from a deluxe room to a studio lakeside. Studio was really big with a king size bed which was very comfortable, smart tv, kitchen with microwave, hob, fridge & all the plates & utensils you need, bathroom.with bath & shower & all the toiletries you require, only annoying thing is that the fan never goes off. Ate first night in restaurant had to wait a long time for our drinks, think the girl may have been new, but the food was good & staff polite & friendly. Walk into town about 15 to 20 minutes but it's a nice walk. Would stay here again as liked location & room was great.

Enjoyed a lovely Stay at the Rendezvous Heritage, room was nice and warm, staff were also warm and friendly and everything was tidy! Ordered the Steak Frites off the menu, can’t really go wrong with steak and chips but some places do, salad was fresh, chips were seasoned so good and the steak was cooked perfectly nicely complimented with a garlic butter! Highly recommend this place for a stay in your travels through Queenstown!!

My partner and I Stayed for 3 nights October 6-9th 25. Pros: - Perfect location with beautiful mountain views. - Housekeeping staff are really nice, caring and attentive along with the rest of the staff - Buffet breakfast is awesome! Can dine outside with a view where blankets and heaters are supplied -Everything we wanted to do was 4-15min drive or 15-30 min walk away Cons: - Bathrooms have no extractor fans - Wall paper peeling My partner and I loved this hotel and would definitely return

Arrived and no one on reception. Eventually a rude manager appeared and basically treated me as if I was an annoyance .. we needed to park the car to check in .. were told to park in disabled space .. and she needed our passports and credit cards to check in !! No welcome to the hotel … no did you have a good journey.. .Then she disappeared and left me with someone else . No explanation of the amenities of the hotel .. where things were or anything . Asked for recommendations of where to eat locally to be told to go to the town 2km away .. that’s where the restaurants are . We were told where our rooms were and not asked if we would like help with luggage . Weren’t told about laundry location or costs or about the pool .. no hairdryer in room .. had to wait to get one from reception . Breakfast was awful .. had to ask for butter, juices were long life .. just grim ||Plus side we ate in the bar the first evening and food was pleasant as were bar staff . View and room were good . I think there are better places to stay in Queenstown .

Can't fault the customer service at this hotel. Everyone was so helpful and very attentive. Sadly our room was in the forest building, ground floor next to the entrance and the heavy entrance door, fire doors and all hotel room doors require room soft closure door hinges. Lots of banging of doors through the night. No bottles of water in the room, but apart from that everything else was great. Would stay again but in a different part of the hotel maybe. Not far out of the town (approx $10 in an uber) nice walk back - but uphill so would recommend walk in to town and Uber back 😀
