Heritage Queenstown

Overall, we were very impressed. The room was clean, well-furnished and warm. The views were stunning. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all friendly and personable and seemed motivated to do their best. The gym, spa and sauna facilities were well-maintained, and nice to have on a cold day.

The room as quiet and comfortable. The 4th floor of the building where we were originally assigned a room did not have elevator access. The hotel is located on a busy road on a hill about one mile from the heart of the town. To walk back and forth from town to the hotel could be a challenge after dark in that there was fast traffic on the road and very little lighting for pedestrians. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room and facilities were in good shape, but the place was absolutely freezing. Our room stayed icy no matter how high I turned the heat up. (Yes, I was operating the in room unit correctly and allowed hours for the temperature to adjust.) The hallways and public areas were practically unheated. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff was pleasant. The location isn't great but I could have overlooked that if it wasn't so unbearably cold.

We stayed for a corporate event and I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing stay. The rooms were fantastic and the service from all the staff outstanding. Such friendly teams in the various departments that were very welcoming and warm. Shout-out to your late night teams on the bars. Location is amazing with the bus outside or a 10 minute walk down the track to town. Thank you all again for the amazing time.

Stay was very peacefull. Staff were very friendly, and checked us in early as some of our programs got cancelled because of the weather. Breakfast was also good. Parking was also available and comfortable. Very next to the lake and many picnic spots.

The view over the lake and across to the Remarkables mountain range with their dusting of snow was breathtaking, particularly as we were able to watch the changing sites as the weather cooled and the snow level dropped. Easy 10 minute walk into town made the location very accessible to get supplies and enjoy a night out without the need to drive.

Good location and reception staff were friendly. The rooms seem outdated and are dark. Floors were a little dirty in our room. Bed was comfy. Shower was a bit small but okay. For the price charged per night, breakfast should be included. There was enough parking spots every time we came back to park. Update: After we returned home from our trip, we realized the reception charged us twice the $50 deposit at check-in. Only one got refunded. We emailed the hotel and the auto reply said they'll contact us back within 72 hours. Till now zero response! Guess once you leave and they've their money, forget the service! 2nd Update: After leaving the above review, I finally received a response from the Reception Desk saying they had no records of a second deposit charge and to talk to our credit card company which is what we had already done.

We were here 4 days from 2-22 until 2-28-24 with a group of 26. Comfortable rooms & beds. Wonderful supply of very nice toiletries daily. Perfect maid services. Sparking clean baths. Enjoyed tea & coffee services in room & fridge. Quiet also. Entire staff always greeted us with a smile & good morning. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with a huge variety of foods. The dining room service was perfect & the host Mitchell was most accommodating. We would def stay here again! Our luggage was delivered & picked up promptly.
