Hermitage Motor Inn

We had a wonderful one night stop in Wangaratta on the way home from Melbourne. Receptionist was the most lovely, kind and caring lady which started a very positive experience. She recommended places for dinner and offered us bottled water for the trip home. Bedroom was so clean and tidy, bed comfortable and everything was great. Heater was a little old and a bit noisy but kept us warm. We will definitely come back and stay again when we have more time to explore.

Checked in and straight away the room looked awesome—super clean, bed made perfectly, and it smelled fresh. I noticed there were a couple of water bottles laid out for me, which was a solid touch. Saw a bottle of wine in the fridge too (not sure if I was meant to crack it open, but hey, nice surprise). Location’s perfect—super easy to get to the shops, and if you’ve got an EV, there’s a Tesla Supercharger around the corner. Biggest win for me was the electric blanket, especially with the cold night—made crashing out much more comfortable. Honestly, really enjoyed my stay. Five stars, for sure, and I’d tell mates to book here without a second thought!

At the end of a day's travel it was delightful to turn up at the Hermitage. Welcomed by a very good receptionist, walked into an attractive and very clean room, which proved to be comfortable too. I'd happily stay there again. It was close to some good food options for dinner.

From arrival to departure, we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming; she also provided accurate information. We had eight family members staying in four different rooms and all were pleased with their room. Thank you. We will be staying at the Hermitage Motor Inn again.

The room was quiet and warmed up quickly. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure and warmth was great. Everything was very clean. It was perfect for our one night stop while travelling.

I had my hip replaced 5 days earlier and so needed to book a room with disabled facilities. The room and bathroom in particular were fabulous with shower chair, over toilet seat, handrails and plenty of space. The room was immaculately clean and bed very comfortable. Close to the performing arts centre.

Very pleasant and easy check. Helpful information. Rooms clean but a little dated but remain value for money. Easy walk to shops. I'd stay again.

We had a great stay at Hermitage Motor Inn. Sandra was very helpful and welcoming and the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Our room had a separate bedroom for the kids, which was great. Highly recommend!
