Hermosa Bungalows

Excellent Vacation Rental location right in front of Playa Hermosa Beach. Good for Family trips. The Villa / Bungalow we stayed in was fully equipped, clean and had nice A/C in all rooms and living room. Good kitchen with all appliances. Clean pool, nice landscaping. You can hear the ocean from your balcony, that is gold for relaxation. Literally 2 minutes to be at the breach. he Customer Service was excellent. Our Bungalow had abtourist info book with pretty much everything related related to tours, locations, restaurants but Brian was open for any other information like surfing and the area. This is a small community with good and respectful people. Thank you @costaricaluxury for referring me to Brian and the Hermosa Bungalows!! I had a great time.

Great location. Big house with full-size appliances. The beach is right across the street. The pool is perfect temperature and big enough to swim laps. Iguanas!

Accommodations are met, support staff is amazing. We will recommend to everyone.

Wonderful place to stay. #28 is at the rear with no thru traffic but with ocean view. Clean and comfortable. Zero interaction with any management. Totally fine with us. It all felt very private. Our key was left outside of the office on arrival and nobody was in when we returned the key. We weren't sure if we could use the pool, so we didn't. Turns out that we could have but it was always crowded. Beach was better. We also didn't find the Costa Rica guidebook or the games and books until the last evening when packing up. They are in a hamper in the guest bedroom closet under some pillows. However, we absolutely loved this place. Clean, cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed including a little ice chest. The toaster only half works but there is a toaster oven that works great. We bought a folding camp chair and an umbrella and left it behind for the next lucky guests to use. This was a fantastic place to stay. The sounds of the surf and all the birds was amazing. Felt like being in an Angry Birds game at times. Hard to believe that birds really make those sounds. Squadrons of Pelican flew low over the surf several times a day. Scarlets Macaws flew along the beach at the rear of the house. Iguanas live on the property. Drive slowly! Easy driving to Manual Antonio National Park. Go early and on a week day. Also, Playa Mantas full of fossils and Playa Blanca powder soft white sand. Can't say enough good things about this place! Two weeks was not enough. Sad to leave. Playa Hermosa is one of the best surfing destinations but definitely not for amateurs. Strong surf with shallow water and much sand. Rip currents. Great to walk along in the morning or evening. Very short drive to Jaco with all the surf culture shops. Lots of restaurants in Playa Hermosa. Try Las Olas. Even more in Jaco. Try The Green Room for craft beer and organic and inventive food. Also Puddle Fish brewpub in Jaco Walk. Great Costa Rican craft beer made by Trientaycinco. La Pelona is a delicious IPA. Stay at the bungalow and you won't be disappointed..... Until you're have to leave. Enjoy!

Nice little community of rentals with a pool. Well maintained and the service was great. Clean property, had a little construction but wasn't in the way or too noisy. The best thing is basically a private beach just across the street. Might see 5-10 people in that area tops. Waves are massive.

Brian/owner very accomodating. The surf across the street drew us down daily to just look at the huge waves and watch the many, many surfers. The low tide is amazing. Bird watching every morning. The house comfortable. Beds comfortable if you like them hard. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the balcony. Partial view of the ocean not too bad. There were absolutely no condiments, not even salt. Adequate cooking gear. Guard on duty nightly that seemed to be pretty alert and walking around with his flashlight regularly.

Brian is easy going and ready to make your stay incredible. Super safe and secure. Great place for a family vacation. Bungalows are nice and clean with a full kitchen. The best part is the empty beach right across the street. I have stayed here three times and plan on coming back again.

Very nice and peaceful. Great pool for the kids. Surf is big here.
