11 Best Shops in Nashville | Condé Nast Traveler

"Hero is the second shop by Claudia Robertson Fowler, a local fashion pioneer and stylist to Garth Brookes, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Martina McBride; Fowler opened her first shop, Haven, in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2006 and followed up with Hero in 2014. She has a certain rock ‘n’ roll edge that she brings to her shop, which is all about finding the “hero piece” to anchor any look. Musicians frequently drop by to see what Fowler has in store for them." - Kristin Luna, Margaret Littman

I popped into Hero 8/27/21 (after having a lovely experience at Emerson Grace) and was looking around. No one was in the store except 1 staff member. I found a gorgeous sweater that was so Me, but it was hanging on a large hanger that was clearly putting stretch marks in the shoulders. Upon looking a little closer, it was $695 and literally had a large tag on it that read Do not hang this sweater. Fold or lay flat. (To that effect) So I called the worker over and cordially said Can I be a little bossy? These sweaters are getting stretched out and you might want to not hang them. And she said with a condescending tone ‘My manager does all the merchandising, and I’m not touching them.’ And walked away. Weirdly, like she was offended by the comment. I then said to her It just can be really hard sometimes to get a sweater back into shape. ( Remember, there’s nobody in the store but the 2 of us) And she pretended she didn’t hear me! Like WTAF. So, I did not buy the lovely $695 sweater, nor will I be shopping there again. Nashville is the friendliest city I have ever encountered. Maybe hire people who reflect that.

Wonderfully curated with a vintage old Hollywood feel, this store brings together some of the hottest finds in Nashville! Each piece made to be a standout, you're guaranteed to find something special and fab! Be prepared for people to ask you where you got your outfit!!! The team at Hero from start to finish are fun, fab ladies who will send you home in style, ready to rock your everyday wear or next event!

Employees were Ok. Behaving nonchalant.. Willing to help only when asked. The only thing was they took a while to help out when I was just standing there waiting. A bit over priced as well. Employee's should learn the history of the store and their products so they can answer questions. Be kind people, this world is temporary and it's desires.

My mom and I were in town for the week shopping all over Nashville, this was our favorite store! LB waited on us and we had the best time and bought beautiful things! We will be back! Loved it!

Was never acknowledged the whole time I was in this store. The young ladies working were much to busy talking to each other to be bothered. I will gladly give my Amex a workout elsewhere. Sad service sucked because they have really cute clothes

One of the worst retail shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The price point of this store is very high and I was planning on spending a large amount of money there. The sales women in this store were extremely rude, I was overly taken aback by the way I was treated. As I was looking through the clothes, the sales woman stood on top of me and would push the clothing back into place as if I should not have been touching anything in the store. She followed me with her eyes while I walked around, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I then went to take a photo of a $575 dress I was considering buying, and she told me I was not allowed to take photos in the store and to put my phone away. This is not even a high end designer store, which I have taken photos in before with no problem. This saleswoman was horribly rude, and I immediately walked out afterward being treated this way. They have unfortunately lost my business.

One of the best boutiques in town to find unique pieces. They also have 2 sister stores Haven and Parish that are just as FABULOUS! Definitely worth a visit.
