I popped into Hero 8/27/21 (after having a lovely experience at Emerson Grace) and was looking around. No one was in the store except 1 staff member. I found a gorgeous sweater that was so Me, but it was hanging on a large hanger that was clearly putting stretch marks in the shoulders. Upon looking a little closer, it was $695 and literally had a large tag on it that read Do not hang this sweater. Fold or lay flat. (To that effect)
So I called the worker over and cordially said Can I be a little bossy? These sweaters are getting stretched out and you might want to not hang them.
And she said with a condescending tone ‘My manager does all the merchandising, and I’m not touching them.’
And walked away. Weirdly, like she was offended by the comment.
I then said to her It just can be really hard sometimes to get a sweater back into shape. ( Remember, there’s nobody in the store but the 2 of us) And she pretended she didn’t hear me! Like WTAF.
So, I did not buy the lovely $695 sweater, nor will I be shopping there again.
Nashville is the friendliest city I have ever encountered. Maybe hire people who reflect that.
