This hotel is located in a fabulous green environment and is a perfect place to stay solo, as a couple, or with your family. Claudia was not only super kind and fun to talk to, she also is a superstar in helping us manage our booking. Please, be aware that when creating a Dorint membership profile & booking through the official website, there may be a time lag. In our case, the reservation wasn't visible to the reception team on the day of booking. Not a great experience. (@Management, I'm happy to help you streamline your processes and guest journey.) There is a wellness area at the hotel, available for a surcharge per person per day. We recommend staying in a renovated room, as there are some outdated ones in lower room categories. Always check with the reception team whether they're serving buffet dinner that night, as they only do it when there's a lot of guests. In our case, we were informed there'd be buffet, but upon arriving to dinner, only a-la-carte was available. And it took about an hour to get our main courses, which was unexpected and unpleasant. This hotel was our family favorite in Germany. Based on our recent experience, we consider staying elsewhere next time (I was really surprised with the bad state of the tech stack & dinner options)... unless we see that management takes this review seriously.

Best hotel in Magdeburg. The location is unbeatable, near the Elbe and with natural surroundings to have long walks. Very much recommended.

Hey there, I chose the Herrenkrug Park Hotel on Booking.com because of its convenient location after a 10-hour drive from Slovakia through Germany. I was delighted that the hotel is dog-friendly, a big plus for dog lovers like me. The hotel's facilities and beautiful green surroundings were a pleasant surprise. I arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm with my dog for a one-night stay. The hotel offers free parking and a lovely park with walking trails, perfect for walking my dog. There are also bike paths around the hotel for those who prefer cycling. Room 156 was very nice; the staff were competent and friendly, free wifi, and the location was perfect for those seeking peace and quiet—a great break from the motorway. Although I noticed a couple of negative reviews, I believe you will enjoy staying in this hotel if you appreciate the hotel's age and the charm and character it brings. I would stay here again.

We always stay at this stylish hotel on our way to and from Poland. July 2023 was again a great experience with excellent buffet, swimming pool, a nice walk in the park and along the river. The rooms are large and comfortable. A great break from the highway! Thank you!

Pleasant hotel, art-deco style, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly personnel. Good restaurant. Spacious room with needed facilities. Bathtub was a plus when travelling with a child.|Bed was quite big but not very big as marked. Breakfast was good, quite diverse, but not exceptional- 21 euros is a lot to pay for it.

It was decent. Beds werent very comfortable (we had the comfort room, quite ironic). Otherwise it was a bit dated hotel but functional. Staff was nice.

Its cost 90 euro one day, the room style interior w as great but the bed is so lower and its double bed but not good, there are no tootbrush and no cpffee like the other hotels in Philippines even just one day,, and if you wanna use the pool you need to add 6euro per head, the toilet is clean,, you only have free one bottle of water

Stayed one night on transit. Used to Dorint's usually high standard, this hotel was a disappointment. The room was spacious but worn, the beds not very comfortable. The level of service not at the level that befits the Dorint chain. The hotel is pompous and beautifully located in a park, but in need of a facelift.
