"Not many people know about the conservatory, but it’s a great way to get away from the cold, gray winters of Kent. Students take care of the greenhouse and use it as a classroom, but anyone can go in and walk around during their hours. They have different rooms for different environments, and a coy pond in the main room. The employees are incredibly kind + knowledgeable!" - Each + Every
I attended the annual plant sale this year and was greeted and treated very generously by all who worked and volunteered their time in the greenhouse. The students and faculty put so much work, effort, and dedication to put on the plant sale. The Herrick Conservatory is a great place to visit, especially when you have the winter blues. Consider volunteering if you have any free time!

So many beautiful, old plants in here. There are entire rooms of cacti, tropical rainforest plants, orchids, some fruit trees, even carnivorous plants. It's my happy place at KSU
