Herriot's in Hawes

Glenn and Liz are the perfect hosts, friendly, welcoming and as trained chefs you can be assured of a fantastic full English breakfast. Liz cooked ours to perfection! Our room was very clean with amazing views and the homemade shortbread was a delightful and tasty touch. The place is in an excellent location with everything literally on your doorstep. We shall definitely return. Thank you.

Glen and Liz were very friendly and welcoming. Beds very comfortable and breakfast excellently cooked and presented. We were on the Herriot way having our baggage moved each day and not being sure what our accommodation would be likebut we will return with our husbands and spend the five nights at Heriots. Glen organises Herriot Way holidays and drops and picks up his guests each day so we can stay at his supper hotel and know we have a perfect bed and breakfast each day.

Glen and Liz are super hosts. We had a warm welcome. Comfortable bed with views of the hills. Excellent breakfast. We will be back to do the Herriot Way with our husbands and will stay at Herriots because Glen supports the Herriot way by transporting walkers to and from the trail each day so we can stay with him and don't have to have baggage transfer each day.

Stayed whilst doing the Herriot Way Walk, excellent location in Hawes. Friendly and obliging owners with great room,breakfast & packed lunch. Just wish I had known they offered an all in package including daily transport for the walk before I had booked with a more expensive walking company. Thank you for a great stay.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean and the excellent breakfast was carefully sourced locally. Our hosts were most helpful and welcoming. Two other couples of friends stayed with us and we were all in agreement that this was an excellent base for a long weekend visit, and with a good choice of breakfasts.

A delightful inn in the center of Hawes. Glenn and Liz are wonderful and helpful hosts. Breakfast was made to order and was fresh and tasty.

A very pleasant stay with lovely friendly hosts, and our room with a view was perfect. (Twin room, no 7, in case you need to know!) Great breakfast, cooked to order, and a really lovely location for a short break in the Dales. We hope to return one day!
