Hesperia Hotel

😊: Easy to access from the port. Helpful reception staff. Kitchenette useful. Balcony had lovely mountain views.. 😢: Nothing. Good value for money. Reception closed Sunday as was the supermarket. Maybe should be explained to non Greek tourists.

😊: Very clean and spacious room! Location is also nice, between the city centre and the port. Staff is very friendly! Potami beach was only 10 minutes away by car, which was perfect!. 😢: Both the city centre and the port are 10-15 minutes walking distance, which is fine, but maybe something to keep in mind..

😊: The room was huge, the bathroom was nice. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a big own parking..

Rooms have old equipment, but the place is clean enough. It is cheap, at good location, close to the supermarket, provides flexibility for making different plans. Checkin and checkout times should be added to the hotel's bookleft. The sea is generally rough, but there are close small beaches, which can be enjoyable when the sea is still. Do not forget your beach shoes.

The lovely lady at the reception has helped us with every possible way during our stay. The room was clean. The sea is across the road. I have nothing bad to say about our experience.

We came here as a part of our greek islands tour and were extremely happy. Its a great hotel that feels more like home than a hotel. We were welcomed by the best staff I have ever seen in years. She was very friendly and cheerful. She helped us a great deal about where to go what to see etc. |Our room was amazing. Decoration is chic and comfortable. We had an amazing terrace with both sea and mountain views. We had a small kitchenette with everything you can need during a couple of days visit. Only downside was the bathroom cause its a bit tiny but I guess it's like that in all islands. We squeezed ourselved inside the shower to fit in. |Location is simply perfect. There is a pebble beach right across and the market is like 2 mins away. Karlovasi center is 5 mins away. Its the perfect spot if you want to be close to the city but also want to have some peace and quiet. Also make sure to look above at night cause there are millions of stars in the sky :) Sunsets are also amazing from this spot cause the sun sets into the sea!|We will definitely come back to hesperia and from now on its our spot at samos!

Perfect location! Near the beach and next to a supermarket. The view of the sunset is amazing. Even though everything around is great, the hotel itself difers a bit... the room I got wasn't very good, one of the beds were leaning a bit to one side and the water was cold. For me cold water is good, in general I do take cold showers, but for others? Who after a long journey come to relax and then get freezing cold showers? I talked to the owner about it, he told me that he understood and he'll get it done within the hour. Even though it sounded nice to me at first, later on I saw I still had cold water. It took about 1 ½ days to make it again warm. That's the reason why I gave the service 2 stars, if he at least had warned me that it might have taken him longer... Anyways, that's all, I dont know if I should recommend the hotel to anyone, only to those who don't care about cold showers and leaning beds like me and just want to enjoy the view😅

My family & I stayed at the Hesperia Hotel for 2 weeks & found it to be a serene, commodious & very positive experience. The accommodation was very comfortable with all the necessary requirements for a holiday apartment. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of town which suited us giving us excellent night's sleep & an 'away from the bustle' feeling (though close enough to walk to the main town shops / the port / restaurants etc - a car is not a necessity if you are reasonably ambulant). Evangellia, who runs the reception, was absolutely awesome in every way. Prior to our departure from Australia, Evangellia emailed to check on our final arrangements, she organised our check-in in a very friendly, relaxed yet efficient manner, & organised all our needs from washing / car rental / subsequent bookings / taxi etc. Additionally, Evangellia was a mine of information on all local knowledge and Greek information in general. Our Greek is limited to greetings & the odd phrase only, so Evangellia was kind enough to speak to us in English, & upon our request, taught us some Greek whenever possible. Every day when Evangellia came & went off duty she greeted / farewelled us & literally was one of the kindest, most considerate people we have ever met. She always had a bright smile, a helpful piece of information & a big, welcoming, friendly heart & gentle, caring nature. We looked forward to seeing her every day as she is the nicest person to have a chat or laugh with! A pure gem of a lady & fabulous representative for The Hesperia & for Greece. The hotel is situated right across from the beach which was great for afternoon swims & watching / listening to the sea from our balcony. All the staff were friendly, hospitable, honest & reliable. The price was reasonable & we were very comfortable & content with the accomodation. We didn't want to leave! Thank you Hesperia Hotel & Evangellia for such a wonderful stay in your establishment. We will be back! :)
