Hestasport Reception - Cottages and Riding Tours

This is my 2nd time in Iceland and my second stay at these cottages. The location is ideal between the west and the north. The cottages are very nicely appointed and spacious. Was lucky enough to see the Northern lights here 2x now. Horseback riding is offered which I also did and was quite nice, horses are well behaved. Having stayed here twice now I cannot hesitate to recommend these charming cottages in an ideal location.

I cant express enough how much I enjoyed my riding holiday with Hestasport. All the guides and staff were marvellous. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always smiling. The cottages were fantastic as was the food. The horses were clearly well looked after and they were sure footed and responsive over all terrains and through the streams. The last day we were taught the flying pace. How exhilarating!!

The cottages are lovely and perfect for friends, couples, families or solo tours! They’re near each other but still offer privacy and all have stunning views. They’re equipped with everything you need and the staff is amazing if you have special requests. The natural stone hot tub is a huge benefit especially after days of hiking or horse riding!! Highly recommend a stop here!!

These cottages are in a beautifully quiet, scenic location and are absolutely PERFECT!!!|Extremely clean, homey, comfortable and include all the things you need for an amazing experience. The “natural” hot tub is beautiful and serene and robes are supplied in the cottages. One of the best cottages I’ve had the pleasure in which to stay.

The guides were very friendly ,knowledge and helpful. They did a great job of assigning us horses that suited our riding abilities. The horses were well cared for and forward and responsive. |Very clean rooms and the food was both amazing and nutritious.|I couldnt have been happier with my horse riding holiday.

The cottages were very clean and well equipped. We checked in late and it was simple to find our keys and directions. Very cozy and quiet. The hot springs in the center of the property was fantastic. A nice change from an ordinary hotel room. Thank you for a great evening.

We really enjoyed our riding tour even without prior riding experience. We were in a group of 7 people with 2 guides. Both guides were very friendly and professional.

very nice place with a nice pool in the middle of the houses. shame about the water that smells very strongly of sulfur, for this I recommend bringing a lot of natural water. for the rest the house is very welcoming but it has stairs to go upstairs that are very narrow and dangerous.
