Het Magazijn

We were looking for a decent spot to have dinner and we got here because of the reviews. The place is cozy and well decorated (art everywhere on the walls). When it comes to the stuff, they were attentive and professionals. But regarding the food, All the dishes where presented nicely - the issue comes with the small portions vs the price you are paying. Plus both crispy chicken and spicy beef fries in terms of taste and texture were not that good. We felt a salty / invasive sauce for the crispy chicken and the fries were just not nice taste when you mix them all together with the meat.

Great vibe for a friends' night out, but the dining experience doesn't match. The food is overpriced for what you get. We were particularly let down by the tiramisu; the cookies were drenched in alcohol and impossible to eat. The saving grace was the excellent service—our waitress was wonderfully friendly and polite.

Great outdoor Courtyard setting. Fried chicken, mushrooms, goat cheese and eggplant all terrific. Ray and fries also great!

Nice place. Would have preferred to have sat inside but was ushered outside by the waitress into the garden which was very noisy from the school next door. The food was good and reasonably portioned. Prices are reasonable and the service was prompt.

Nice place. A lot of pressure to order drinks all dinner. We take ~1h until the starter was served. Long time between the rest of the dinner. It was a group maybe this happened because of that. The menu was agreed and ordered in advance.

A treasure right in the heart of Dordrecht. Huge, beautiful outside dining area while the indoor area resembles a gallery. Very classy indeed! Food and beverages (particularly the wine selection) are excellent, certainly some of the best in the city. Friendly and super efficient service from a dynamic young staff.

Lovely vibe, nice staff, ordered an aperol spritz and it was proper❣️i'm italian and I'm serious about my aperol spritz 🤣🤣🤣🫶 thank you guys

We had lunch at Het Magazijn - had the smoked salmon sandwich with everything on it (pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, wasabi mayo. Very tasty. Paired it with a glass of Syrah.
