An interesting small monument of Mostafa Atuturk on a horse. This is surrounded by a small park, but nothing special. However, nearby are markets, a major mosque, bus and tram stops and lots of cafes amd shops. The mosque and markets are worth a visit. The area can get very congested especially in the small streets, which are not suitable for cars.

A very nice place but too much noise and there are no garbage disposals there. It is clean anyhow. Seats are available and the view is just nice. The tram can put you in front of it in addition to many bus lines. I loved it. Also there is no nearby restaurants or any place to buy food or water from.

Good place for a visit. Could be time of year but was good to be out of the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. Got places to visit like the Han, bazaars and shrines. Plenty of mosques with great architecture. Great panaramic views from Osmans shrine. A with all the tourist hotpots, loads of places to eat. Can't really go wrong. Not 5 star because transportation was a headache as I came from Istanbul via ferry. No clear signs. Figured it out in the end but would have been helpful to have access to this info beforehand.

It’s your typical local souk: small shops, a bit of everything around, lots of people. I found these dolls though!

It is the statue of Ataturk. One of the landmarks of the Bursa city center. People can see each other there and sit and wait around there. 👍🏼

The landmark statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of modern Turkey. It is the so called "Heykel", the centre of Bursa. Behind the statue is the City Museum. This statue is particularly famous among natives with the question "How many feet has the horse lifted?". The answer is, surprisingly, 0.
