Today was my first time visiting this Bubble Tea place, and here’s my honest review.
First of all, I was lucky there was no line, because I often pass by this spot and it’s usually busy. Today was the first time I actually managed to get in.
When I ordered my drink, I specifically asked if it came with any toppings, and I was told it didn’t. So I added Brown Sugar Pearls for an extra $1.50 — which, to be honest, is way overpriced. That’s about twice as much as in other places.
In the end, the drink already had some tapioca pearls in it, so I basically overpaid for something I didn’t need. The total came to a bit over $10, even though the base price of the drink was $7.99.
As for the interior — it’s beautiful, probably the only thing that deserves one star.
The staff inside were shouting so loudly that I thought I’d lose my hearing. If you sit near the pick-up counter, be prepared to leave half-deaf.
Would I come back? I doubt it. For this price, I can get a much better drink that actually matches its value. Unfortunately, this one didn’t.
Pros: nice interior.
Cons: extremely loud, poor communication, overpriced, long lines, and the taste is barely one star.
