Hi Chiangrai Hotel

Kind and welcoming staff, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. Hotel is walking distance from the town centre and the rooms are clean and spacious. A good selection available for breakfast and things freshly cooked to order. On the final morning we had to check out early, they prepared food for us and helped with the language barrier with our onward travel. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay at. Very central and walkable distance from temples and night market. Make sure to bring earplugs, the hotels is rather noisy. Maybe because of the squeaky clean floors or the open rooftop. Might be the boilers or the thin walls. Other than that it was a nice place to stay

Location couldn't be better! The hotel is right in the heart of the action, surrounded by an abundance of dining, markets, and street food. It’s an easy 5-minute stroll to the Chiang Rai Night Market and the Clock Tower. We found the bed and cot to be soft and very comfortable, the lighting was pleasant, and the bathroom was sparkling. The atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful, and little touches like the umbrellas provided made the stay feel complete. The only downside was the service: most staff members were not very friendly or welcoming, which was a real disappointment.

Just wrapped up a fantastic stay at Hi Chiang Rai, and I'm already dreaming of that bed! If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located base for your adventures, look no further. Here’s my full breakdown: 📍 The Location is Unbeatable: You cannot beat the convenience here. It's: · About a 5-minute walk to the main bus station. · About a 5-minute walk to the vibrant Night Bazaar and street markets. · Approx. 15-minute motorbike ride to the stunning Blue Temple. · Approx. 25-minute motorbike ride to the iconic White Temple. ✨ The Room: Comfort is King! As someone who values cleanliness and comfort above all else, this hotel was a dream. · Cleanliness: Impeccable. The entire room was spotless upon arrival and maintained beautifully. · Space: The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. · The Bed: The mattress was cloud-like, the sheets were luxuriously soft, and the comforter was the perfect weight. We had two rainy days and I genuinely didn't mind being "stuck" in the room because it was such a cozy sanctuary. · The Furniture & Shower: The furniture is a little dated, but it's well-kept and truly not a big deal. The only functional downside was the shower, which is on the smaller side. A massive shoutout to Ching and Kharpawn at the front desk! They were the highlight of my stay, so warm, helpful, and patient. They went above and beyond to help me arrange the logistics for my trip to Laos. Thank you both! While I didn't take a dip, the pool area is gorgeous and looked incredibly clean. Note- I stayed in two different rooms, bc I extended and the one with the large balcony was no longer available. Hotel is a 5 minute walk to night market, near coffee and restaurants. Bed is soft and comfy. Rooms are clean, big and have seating area. Wish pool was heated, but this hotel hits the mark and has a great price!

Perfect location! just a short walk to the Night Bazaar, local markets, Clock Tower, and bus station. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony for hanging clothes. The indoor pool and lobby were also very nice. Great stay overall!

September 2025 We stayed a couple of days in Hi Chiangmai Hotel, it was a Wonderful experience, Everything is. clean People are nice and kind Air conditioning is new and very silent, which is nice when you have a baby (I have a baby) The room : amazing Breakfast : 10/10 Swimming pool : small but enough and beautiful Around the hotel 8-10min by taxi to the old city / 8-10min by taxi to the airport Some nice massage place A very nice Thai restaurant (maybe more) which is in Michelin We tasted a wonderful matcha dessert shop Overall : 4.9/5 Only 1 drawback : The bar that holds the hangers and the hanger support are made of steel, and it squeaks a lot every time you touch the hanger. If they change that, it’s perfect !

Stayed in two bedroom suite for 2 nights. It has a room with 1 large bed and the other room with 2 single beds. Very good room for 3 to 4 people. It has 2 bathrooms, each with own toilet and shower separated by glass screen. Also both rooms with own TV, desk and balcony. Location is great, walking distance to bus station, night bazaar, clock tower and plenty of nearby good food places. Clean place with comfortable beds and quiet environment.
