Budget-friendly hostel with interesting architecture and kind, helpful staff. I skipped the breakfast for French pastries, but it’s nice to have hot drinks available before leaving. They don’t provide towels, shampoo or soap, so be sure to bring your own. It’s also better to bring flip-flops if you plan to use the shared bathrooms. With the tram, you can easily reach the train station, or you can walk about 30 minutes to Lille city center. Don’t expect a nice view from the windows. If you’re using the hostel mainly for sleeping, it’s an affordable option with an okay location. They offer both single beds and bunk beds. You can use the kitchen. One downside is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything if people are talking in the corridors..

Beautiful building, good warm rooms with clean beds and safety amenities (lockers in the room and a locked room for luggage that only the staff can enter).||The breakfast isn't much but it is cheap so it may be worth it for you. And the showers don't stay running, you need to press a button many times to shower since it stops running after a few seconds (although I do understand it's to save water)||Also good location, I arrived there walking with my bags from the metro station. And most importantly the friendly staff!

I shared a room with an elderly person and another person. The elderly person would go to sleep before 9 p.m. but would wake up around 3 a.m., then keep tossing and turning in bed, breathing deeply as if out of breath, and the entire bed would shake. It was a nightmare-like night. The other person's snoring was also very loud. It wasn't until around 5 a.m. that I was able to fall asleep again. This place was definitely not a youth hostel; it was more like a low-cost rental apartment. The bathing facilities were also extremely ridiculous. You had to press a button on the wall to get the water to come out, and you had to press it dozens of times for one bath.

I am a solo traveller and have stayed at this hostel for tonight and I have following opinions:1. The Wi-Fi is as other hotel or hostels it barely works.2. I booked a room with attached bathroom and that’s the catch they give you attached bathroom but no toilets in it. The toilets are common for the whole floor and there are many many rooms in the floor. So connect the dots3. Location of the hostel is good enough like three Metro station and five minute walk from city centre4. They absolutely give you nothing for amenities not even drinking water dispenser and any water they have is not drinkable.5. Showers in the bathroom are the worst I have ever seen it’s just a very tiny nose that drips water and barely you can wash your hands with it. Let alone have a shower and that’s everywhere in the hostel and if as this says it’s the same everywhere and there’s nothing thing they can do about.6. I booked for four bed dormitory, but I got the three so that’s a good part, but the beds were very noisy.7. Lockers they provided was separate for each individual but the lockers have no way to lock them so literally anything you put in there it’s basically unlocked.8. There is no towel rails, shower gel shampoo et cetera provided.

I came here in October on a school trip for 5 days and it was awful. The whole place feels like a prison and the food is shocking, ( i’d rather eat out of a toilet). Most students on the trip and our bus driver only ate 2 pieces of bread for dinner everyday it was so bad. Also i wont forget the beautiful neon orange hallways which make you feel like you’re in an asylum prison. Don't come here with your school or anyone it will ruin your trip/holiday.

I think this place is great! They do serve gluten free food! And the rooms are not bad they all have chargers and good beds! Food is or can gluten free and is great. They have a pool table as well. 4 beds a shower but no toilets but the public toilets are not that far. And they have a great shared balcony! Over all a great place if your visiting France like me.

Stayed with one other in a triple room which had plenty of space for us both: one single bed and bunk beds. It was all very clean and could not be faulted from the description. Our window looked out across a street and could be opened wide to let in air but also close a blind at night. Was surprisingly cheap as a last minute booking and we got what we asked for

Affordable, clean, and super chill vibes. Perfect if you’re on a budget. The shared spaces make it easy to meet other travelers or just chill. The staff are lovely and kind. They were very helpful. Thanks to Ehab and his collogues for making the stay smooth and easy.

This place is great. The building itself is futuristic, certainly not like any other hostel I've seen. Everything is brand new and is well maintained with the room being spotless. All the staff I encountered were nice and helpful. I've only knocked off a star as it's a bit of a walk from central Lille and I couldn't find much nearby (except a supermarket) and some people may find the modernity a bit sterile (although it was great for my needs).
