I came here during the off season so there were very few guests. All of the staff workers were very kind. They went above and beyond by storing my luggage after my check out, holding my laundry for me and offering tips about the place. The hostel is centrally located, just 5 minutes from the bus station, and not far from main tourist attractions and the beach. The kindness of the people made the stay worthwhile. The breakfast (included) although cold, was sufficient and surprisingly decent. Even though there are no lockers in the rooms, you can lock the door. I didn’t have any issues with safety. Rooms came equipped with extra blankets for the cold season. Downside: it can get a bit loud outside so bring earplugs and an eye mask.

The staff are so lovely that they made it a joy to deal with them. Piedro, Carla and Angela couldn’t do enough to help me. They gave me a better room upstairs away from the one assigned by the street without me even asking. Offered to store my bags. Told if I needed anything at all to come to them. Breakfast included which is a rare thing these days. Great coffee ☕️ Lovely internal open terrace with the rooms wrapping it with a wraparound balcony overlooking it. The balcony was a real suntrap in the afternoon with benches and tables and chairs there to enjoy it. There’s a dining room for breakfast, a separate kitchen for guests to use, and area to hang your washing to dry outdoors on balcony. You can’t fault that. Also very close to the nearest beach to the old town, the square with St Mary’s Church and also St Anthony’s Church. Great location. Highly recommend to those travelling on a budget! Enjoy! Room is very humid (even with fan) and old. Beds uncomfortable and I think some insects were biting me at night. Our room was by the street so was noisy and difficult to sleep until club ended at 2am (on Monday night). Staff friendly and breakfast quite basic but nice. Central location in Lagos. Price reasonable.

The staff here is amazing. I had problems (unrelated to the hostel) and the guys were extremely accommodating, helpful, and unbelievably generous. They have a free breakfast, many toilets and showers, a kitchen, a living room with a pool table, and a nice courtyard. It was also the least expensive hostel in the area! Love this place, I definitely recommend.

I would not recommend this hostel! As we arrived, we were informed in a very unfriendly way that the kitchen didn't work and that we wouldn't be able to cook during our stay. We had to go out for dinner every day - not the cheapest thing to do in Lagos, especially for students! Furthermore, our room was in miserable conditions: We had a room on the ground floor, and it was so loud outside, that it was difficult to sleep. The windows had a metal grid and it felt like living in jail. The mattresses were uncomfortable, stinky and dirty. The bathroom was moldy and unhygienic. The towels and the bedsheets were dirty, and the doors to the bed- and bathroom had no handles and therefore could't be closed. Even the light switch was broken. However, the cleaning Lady was very friendly and the included breakfast was kinda good.

Great place with lot of positive things! It's perfect located, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast it's great! The staff it's super friendly 🤍 The only negative thing it was the room that I had it was quite hot, and a little loudy beacuse of the street. Anyways, totally recommended!

We spent two nights at the hostel and we really enjoyed. The location is really nice, really close to the bars and the beach! The place is clean (but keep in mind that it's a hostel!) and the share kitchen is really nice! We had a room for 4 and the room was clean. The only thing is the breakfast is not good, you should probably buy some food and make your own! |

Nice staff! The rooms are okay, they have no air con but a fan. The breakfast was good! It's all very old though and the bathrooms are dirty and urgently need to be renovated. The light in one toilet was also not working so you were sitting in complete darkness.
