HI Lisboa Parque das Nações - Pousada de Juventude

The hostel is located in a youth centre. When I stayed, the restaurant was closed but there were all sorts of activities going on in the house. There is no security checking who enters the hostel.|The breakfast was the same as all other HI-pousadas I stayed in in Portugal. Nothing fancy but ok for the price.|Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was no mattress topper or extra padding, just a basic box spring or metal spring mattress that offered no support or softness. I woke up every morning with back pain and did not sleep well during my stay. I really hope they consider upgrading their beds in the future!|There are shops in the area, a commuter train station, a bus stop a few blocks away to go to/from airport or downtown. The train station is not close, and the pavements are all cobblestone...|OK for a night, but only since I had stayed downtown Lisboa already three nights.

Great place to stay for a couple nights. They are SUPER nice. Of course you are gonna meet up there with people with no education ay all (guests) but the people working there are FANTASTIC. The bathroom are good, the breakfast awesome (not much variety on it but good). I will stay here next time I’m not into the UEFA’s Women’s championship and i want to explore Lisbon.

Unhelpful and unfriendly staff |Everything from the waiting room to the breakfast room to the actual rooms was tired and not cleaned properly||Breakfast is awful with the bare minimum offered : not hot food at all, a few cereals and bread, limited ham and cheese. Coffee machines were broken. ||The room looked like a prison or something from a communist block. ||I got this as part of a package with love holidays and am bitterly disappointed.

It is close to the airport. The place is basic, no light at the bed, no power plugs close to the bed, no lockers where your bag fits... bathroom is basic and not the cleanest. Service was kind and helpful. For the price, I would rather get a nice hostel in the center.

Friendly staff, great location near the train and bus station. Fresh and basic breakfast. Comfortable common area for relaxing and reading. Bring your own lock, if you wish to use the lockers in the room. It's a small locker for a medium back bag.

No ice dispenser, but we got a nice handicap room.

A reliable stay in Lisbon. Front desk helpful and friendly even at midnight. Nice spacious rooms with a fan and gigantic window to relieve the heat of walking around a delightful neighbourhood with public transport nearby. No questions asked, come stay here for your next trip to Lisbon and get yourself a toasted bun with cheese in the morning from the buffet. Maybe just bring a safe with you as the lockers were broken. Obrigada!!

I stayed at this hostel for three nights and unfortunately had a concerning experience. I discovered a bedbug in the room (109) during the last few minutes of my stay, although it wasn't in my bed. Thankfully, I wasn't bitten, but I promptly notified the receptionist. The location, while close to the airport, is far from main attractions. The breakfast offered was good, but being particular about coffee, I opted to have it elsewhere. On a positive note, the showers were satisfactory, and it provided a quiet environment for a good night's sleep. However, due to the bedbug incident, I wouldn't recommend this hostel.
