HI-Onkel.Inn 1886

Great hostel! Our triple room was lacking power points (only one power board between three and we needed to use converters.. Not ideal) and the kitchen is too small and lacks real hotplates, but sleep was easy to come by and the place was nice and quiet at night. Also pretty cheap too as an added bonus.

Very friendly staff, good location and quick laundry service. The reason why I am giving Onkel Inn only three stars, is because I think we were just very unlucky with our room. I think it was a small TV room before, which they converted into a small bedroom. The size didn't matter that much to me, but it was super noisy with the hallway, bathroom and rooms next to it. Also it had a glass door, which would let all the light through from the hallway. So both me and my boyfriend couldn't sleep much, because we woke up the whole time from either the light, somebody showering, going to the toilet, talking, barfing etc. So if you make sure you don't stay in room number 10, you'll probably be fine!

I had a nice, small private room. It was clean. The location is good. The WiFi is terrible. Basically worthless. I would have added another start just for that. I’d stay elsewhere until they can upgrade it. You can’t even consistently load a basic webpage. It does include a decent breakfast and the people here are very nice and helpful. The water heater is the type that is on the shower head.

the room was clean but really small. was impossible to move or even to be their. the door in the toilet was broken so if someone need to use the bathroom the others should go out. no light in the shower. 2 out of 3 beds was with broken springs... the location is really good but it is to expensive for what you get...

Very recommended. Much better than expected. Very clean, spacious and charming. A lot of equipements and common spaces. It's was a pleasure to stay there few days. We can cook your food, work, relax, rest, enjoy the roof top.

Really bad. So bad that we changed the hostel. Maybe it was good once so check recent ratings. - Dirty - Small room without windows - Bad matrace - Room couldn't be locked

Stayed in (or almost stayed in, I should say) one of their airbnbs. Absolutely disgusting, hair everywhere. Blood on the walls, hair on and IN the BED. 0/10. Run.

Awful! Friendly staff and good breakfast! But the place smells like septic tank. No exaggeration. You can get sick.
